The racism there is just the worst... I still cant believe that a white guy was literally mad because black customers were paying and he was swearing at them, and the white manager decided to address the black customers for defending themselves and apologized to the white guy.

Ive been a shopper for quite some time, with my every visit I get greeted by friendly faces and big smiles. I love my Spar

We are in Carletonville for 15yrs and since day 1 we supported 3 Monkey Spar. Today 15.01.2020 we did our last purchases their after the incident at the entrance of the shop. They got a huge pile of toys stacked right in the walk way. No escaping left or right. Try going in there with a well disciplined kid of 3yrs and see what happens. When I complained to the Manager I were blatantly told I wont dictate to him how to display his goods. Not even a suggestion to put on shelves in an aisle like 99% other Supermarkets do, to give us the shoppers a choice to go in that row or not.. We can rather then support somewhere else where the temptation is kept to a minimum.

Great place for a quick buy. The fruit and veg department is better than the Pick n Pay Canal Crossing.

A great convenient store, they cook good food & closes late at 8pm. I love their great special offers.

I wanted 2liters of Milk, Full Cream which is on Special for R23.99 but i was told they never had stock though its advertised in the shop. My question, why advertise something you never had and never will you receive during the promotion run time?
