Love the area. Small but vibrant. The restaurants, grass where you can picnick, shops to browse, great place for sundowner, some family time on the beach, time with friends, surfing is good and kitesurfing when wind is up.

Excellent place to be at, especially if youre hungry and crave the cool sea waters in a safe area.Large parking lots. Spoilt for restaurant choices. All of them serving quality food. Waiters are chatty and friendly.Place is nice during summer nights as the fresh seabreeze caress your warm skin. From ice cream to full three course meals.I highly recommend this place.

I love Big Bay, where I can walk my dogs on the beach and then go to a restaurant with them to enjoy a bite to eat. There is a good selection of restaurants that are very dog friendly and the sunsets are amazing to watch.

Lovely day for walking and many people made use of the fantastic weather. Make sure to make a landmark to find your car again, the parking areas are deceptively similar and one can lose your car. There are food outlets for snacks and something to drink.

Great place to surf, kite surf, stand up paddle board or get lessons on any of them. Lots of options for hiring equipment at reasonable prices as well if you are traveling so no need to lug your gear around with you. Many food options available too, so if you want to grab a beer or cocktail then you can or just want to pop into Pick n Pay for a quick pie and coke then you can do that too. Free parking too.

Big Bay in Cape Town one of the nicest beaches and areas if visiting Cape Town.With so many accommodation opportunities one can decide if you want an ocean view apartment or just walking distance from the beach. You would have to make booking well in advance.Then we must have encountered one of the most beautiful beaches where everybody can come and windsurf, stroll on the beach, swim or just have fun.Just love walking on this beach. The vibe is always a festive one. With so many shops, restaurants, gift stores etc. It makes it one of my favourite beaches.

The view and the water color are absolutely insane! The beach itself is unfortunately a bit tricky and uncomfortable to walk on as it is fairly rocky, but a cement walkway is available for a large part of the stretch.

Big bay is a great place to relax with a superb view of the beach just in your reach. You can enjoy any type of food you fell like with lots of restaurants to decide from.

Big Bay has a magical view of Cape Town, especially when the kite-surfers are out in full force and the large container liners are jotted on the ocean in the background. The mall is an interesting mix of eateries and day-to-day shopping, with a mostly open plan setting. It is a great place to start an excellent walk towards Dolphin Beach and back, as the beaches and view is truly spectacular. It is worth a visit as the combination of a beautiful view of Cape Town and cocktails or smoothies are ideal.

This area is the most beautiful place Ive been to in South Africa. Its views of Table Mountain is breataking. The beaches are pristine and beautiful. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from with malls and shopping centres nearby. There are ample parking spaces and walkways. The beaches are the safest Ive seen anywhere. There is good holiday accommodation available all around. The public transport system runs through the area. Much of the surrounding area is being developed as well. A great place to take the family for a day out or on vacation.

We had a delicious breakfast outside with COVID protocol strictly adhered to. We were very excited to see a seal swim up to a rock close by and spent some time watching it bask in the sun.

Great place to grab a bite with the Family. You have a clear view of Table Mountain and the folk are very friendly also the food is really good from Saints Burger Joint. They do Pizzas. Which is what we ordered. Was really good.

I loved this place, everything is close by. A breath of fresh air. The weather was amazing.

Its one of the prettiest beaches in Cape Town. There are shops, restaurants and bars conveniently located close by. Theres also a Myciti bus stop. It has a wonderful view of Table Mountain. Plus it is a great spot for kiteboarding because the wind conditions are good.

In front of the sea side mall Eden on The Bay is Big Bay beach . A beautiful stretch of beach that attracts surfers and wibd surfers. Make a turn to one of many restaurants at Eden on the Bay after your beach pleasure

Close to the beach and resturants. No need to use your car once parked in safe underground parking. Our unit was big and spacious. Free internet and Dstv available. Pitty no seaview thats why it is only 4stars. Next to noisy road.

Big Bay is one of the Top 5 beaches in Cape Town if you ask me, its wonderful views and amazing restaurants will entertain you for hours and hours, you dont even have to buy anything u can just sit there and relax and take in one of Cape Towns natural beautys anyway go check it out make sure if you planning to eat in you make a reservation because it gets lit on weekends ,but if you looking just to relax then you are more than welcome to go on week days anyway enjoy
