Very nice venue and food. We had no electricity thus we had a limited menu unfortunately. A bit to expensive for what you get, that is what brings down my rating.

A rare gem in that it is always worth the visit. Breathtaking views in summer. Staff who are eager to look after you with a smile and a kind word. Superlative food in a beautiful establishment, and the wine is on par with South Africas best.

A lovely vegetable garden setting and great views set the tone for an extremely enjoyable dining experience. Great food, well presented meals from a simple menu that changes frequently, made for a very relaxed lunch. Friendly, interested service rounded it off.

Fine food and venue. Bit pricey but TOTALLY worth it. GREAT view. Very good for intimate or private function.

Spent an awesome afternoon enjoying a wonderful lunch at Longridge Restaurant. The chef went out of his way to prepare a lovely vegan meal for my friend. Truly stunning venue, probably one of the best views of all the restaurants situated on the R44. Look forward to visiting again.

We had a terrible experience here. Out of a company of 19, ten got very sick. I tried to speak with the manager, who has yet to get back to me, three weeks later. Hit and a miss, dinner wise.The view is beautiful and the bar well stocked, it is a little un-cozy though and the service was a little tardy.

Awesome setting offering stunning views over Cape Town. Especially at night with Cape Towns flickering lights reminding you of being in the most beautiful city in the world. Restaurant offers a delightfully different culinary experience,which underscores the venues uniqueness.

Wine and cheese sampling was fun. Dinner was tasty. Fantastic views of mountains and valley overlooking their vegetable garden. Highly suggest reservations.

Very good food nice atmosphere friendly staff

Finally tried Londridge and we were not disappointed. The food was amazing, especially the beef fillet and the rack of lamb. To be honest though, the desserts are not that exciting. Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!Visited February 2014

My favourite restaurant in Stellenbosch. Every time Ive been they have had a different menu and I havent been disappointed even once with my meal. Beautiful sunset view as well as a lovely vegetable garden where they grow all their own produce for their meals!

We have been there 3 days ago and despite the beautiful scenery and lovely food the 2 star review is due the following: we were a party of 12 the service was very slow and clumsy, we had to ask the waiter for basics like cutlery and refill of water. Food portions are small and pretentious for what they cost. Menu is not kids friendly at all and when we asked the waiter for the only pasta dish to be made without olives for our son He told us that he has to ask the chef if he would willing to make it ... Really ??? Once we have finished the waiters were circulating around us to get us out as we were the last ones but still engaged in conversation and had wine to finish . Once the bill came and we were about to pay they have dropped the bombshell on us that it will be an extra mandatory 12.5% service charge due to a large party ...again really? We only had one clumsy waiter ... and this charge was not on the bill as that they have forgotten to add .... so all in all a massive expensive let down and will definitely not recommend Longridge to anyone in the future.

The setting and quality is excellent, the views awesome and the people great.Unfortunately the estates own wines served in the restaurant is totally overpriced, which spoils the experience. They charge easily more than double the celler door price, which is not acceptible.The food is good, but I didnt find it exceptional, which was not what I expected, especially since they have great organic food garden.

Ate here back in March 2016 while on a business trip.The wine from the vineyard was excellent as was the steak.Well worth a visit.

Recognizing the popularity of 14th February we booked for dinner at the end of January - the member of staff we spoke to confirmed that our booking was accepted and an SMS would confirm. This was never received and today we got a phone message to announce that on the day we booked their system was down and that they were in fact fully booked for the 14th - offered to put us on a waiting list!If this is true the staff member should have been aware of the situation and not confirmed our booking - very shabby treatment of customers - will certainly not be back.
