Waiter is basically non existent, didnt check up on us, had to get up and ask other waiters for assistance. Food was good, chai latte was good but the Rose wasnt as good... flat and tasted diluted. The restaurant is beautiful and kept clean

Stopped by for breakfast, pleasant area outside to sit. Food was good , as expected from Tashas. The service was adequate, could have been better. When we arrived, one of the waiters was supposed to seat us , we followed us and then he just went somewhere else , so we sat ourselves and had to wait a bit for menus. But after that service was good , as normal.

Absolute my favourite place! Their food is different & special. Generous portions and reasonable prices. Best carrot cake ever! And the chocolate cake! To die for!

The decor is very fancy. Service is great everyone was friendly. The food was avarage or even below except for the calamary and black rice which was amazing. The ribs were a total miss for me. Toooo sweet and has a strong cinnamon flavor that doesnt complement the meat.I would go back if I want a nice restaurant for an occasion but not going back for the food.

The place has a calming and beautiful interior. I’ve sat both inside and outside, although the outside is not as appealing as the inside.The food selection is good and affordable. My meals on both occasions were well made with no complaint at all.Great for dates or casual meetings.

Been here a few times and the place is definitely a vibe. Pity service is not consistent, but its a great hangout spot and the food is decent.

No matter what you order, the food is outstanding. Love the convenient location, atmosphere and staff.Had breakfast there, excellent French toast made with brioche accompanied by a berry compote. Standard egg, bacon and mushroom breakfast was lovely as well.

Always stop here when we got to the Waterfront. My kids love it just as much as we do.

Its always a stunning dish that comes out of the Tashas kitchen. One of my favourite places for a relaxing lunch with white Sangria and my favourite meal... Smoking Salmon Salad. Mmmm...

It was a beautiful day to be at Tashas. I had the house salad and this amazing Mango, slushy, icy drink. Delicious! The food was light and and tasty. Very refreshing and different from my norm.

Situated at the V&A waterfront mall in Greenpoint, this restaurant boasts extraordinary seating, ambience and mouth watering food & drinks. Probably the neatest restaurant ive ever seen in my life! Stanleys attention to detail is of the highest standard and his demeanor is always pleasant. He took over our order, as we were about to cancel, due to lengthy wait & then being served cold food. He convinced us to stay.

Decor is appealing to the eye. Our food was good & the flourless almond cake was delicious. Our waitress was very pleasant & helpful. Will def go back.

Only sat down for a cuppachino because they had no plugs available for guests. The cuppachino was really not great. Milk was way too hot and tasted average. I understand you would like to avoid people working at your restaurant, but at least have one point available at a designated spot if someone would like to charge a phone and do a quick meeting or send an email.

Beautiful location and friendly staff but is it necessary to have the music blasting so loud? It can be heard from as far as the upper gallery by dip as well as outside across the parking... a little bit more consideration would be appreciated.

Quaint restaurant for an informal get together.I had the Brazilian Quesadilla, required more flavour, although the portions are generous. Their coffee is great.I think the branch at V&A requires more staff, we waited a while to for our order to get taken as well as for our food to arrive.Also avoid peak times, it gets busy.

I’ve been coming to Tashas for years. Unfortunately the service has really deteriorated. After asking for a table during a quiet afternoon, the waitress who greeted me at the door was so rude and uninviting, I actually just walked straight out and went somewhere else.

Vibrant yet relaxing. I would go there over and over again. There toilets are beautiful the look and feel is stunning. The menu is yummy there is something for everybody and the portions are great. The staff could do with a little training. The coffee could also do with some help.

Clean, cosy place, lovely area outside, even in winter it is great outside. Most waiters are ver friendly and helpful. Would advice you have a pleasant helpful person/waiter at entrance, as this is your customers first impression. Squid heads and cauliflower deep fried portions I had, did not have a nice smell to it, and the portion of squid heads was the smallest I have ever seen at any restaurant, it was also fried rock hard and dry. Always busy place, long waiting periods. When trying to make a reservation, lady didnt sound interested in business at all.

Good catch of the day or line fish as they call it, but three tapas we tried we mediocre. The shrimp was way too spicy, and we live spicy, but it made my eyes water. The squid was small and tasteless. The octopus had too much vinegar. The service was good, but the waiter forgot one of the tapas we ordered.

Yesterday, afternoon we were requested to wait briefly before being attended to because they were quite busy, and so the black waiter asked for my name & contact details and I gave them to him. As we wait, a white couple arrives 10 minutes later and they get allocated a table immediately and my mother went to enquire to the waiter as to why the white couple got a table on arrival, whereas for us, we had to wait before we could be seated.My mother and I saw it as a racially-motivated incident and the waiter kept on denying it that it was racially-motivated. Moreover, he had the audacity to tell my mother to not raise her voice. He went on to say that he made a mistake and made an excuse that we all make mistakes. To take the heat out of the situation, the waiter ignored my mother and said we should select our own table to sit at, whilst focusing on the other guests who were trying to get seated.

Fantastic lunch, we love to go there anytime of the day . Menu is very wide and lot of choices for everyone s taste. Service was good.

The best spanish food I had in south africa. Black rice with calamari was impressive. Paella was ok, but I would come back every day to eat that black rice.

My absolute favourite place to be at Tashas in the V&A Waterfront. The service is speedy and the quality of the food is phenominal. There is always something different to try because their menu has a vast variety of foods. Their drinks are exotic and tasty and the aura is just inviting and comfortable. The prices of the food and beverages are reasonable for the quality and quantity. A must try!

Great service, outdoor seating area is spacious. Loved the parmesan grater they bring for the table if you order pasta. I had the vegeterian zucchini spaghetti. Good though too tomato sauce consistency for my liking which is great for some, I just personally dont like it.

10/10 recommended for sundowners! Have some creative cocktails in this Spanish inspired restaurant. They serve many different types of food and have a great tapas menu. Great place to hang with a group of friends. Fantastic view and ambience.

My wife and I wanted to beat the heat today. . . So we decided to get some icy fruit drinks to get ourselves cooled. . . The drinks were amazingly refreshing. . . But the highlight was our 7 month old having fun playing on the long sofa and looking at the window. . . He had a constant smile on his face. . . The service wasnt that good, our waiter was a bit spaced out. . . Anyway the overall experience was really good. . . Look at that face. . .

A great restaurant with a good variety of food on the menu although quite busy. The staff were friendly and helpful. The chicken prego and chips was very tasty. All round a good experience.

I had a churros for R65 and chocolate and the chocolate was cooking chocolate there was only 5 tiny churros.The Tasha hot chocolate I ordered came with Nutella with bread crumbs in. Do yourself a favor and dont bother coming here... I didnt even get a napkin with the churros.

Despite it being in a mall, it has a lovely atmosphere inside the restaurant. The service is friendly, and no matter what I order the food is always amazing.

Theres no cell phone reception no wifi. The menu is a digital menu, where you need to scan the QR code and load the menu after 43 minutes of struggling. The waiter restored to a paper menu. If you know the reception is bad and you dont offer wifi then use the paper menus instead. This is were technology failed. We double check with the waiter that the food needs to be well done because my wifes pregnant. And we want to stay on the safe side.... the waiter brings the food under done.... food goes very back to the kitchen.... 20min later comes back burnt to a crisp.... what a bad customer experience.

This was my third visit to Tashas and they never disappoint. The staff is friendly, the service is excellent and the food is always fresh and delicious.Depending on the location they have a rotating or inspired by menu but also have a lot of regular dishes.I ordered the steak sandwich with caramelized onions on chibbata and the steak was cooked as ordered.If you like to eat quality food in a nice setting, be sure to check them out
