It started off as another ordinary day in South Africa thinking about security. Along came an unassuming company called Shutterway and just like that, without any fuss or bother , a set of shutter guards was created and perfectly installed , exceeding any expectation !Shutterway offers the most cost effective security for the most stylish outcome and better appreciated in real life than in any advertisement.The property where these clever shutters are installed is enhanced , lending a minimalist ,airy mood rather than looking like clumsy or oppressive security add-ons.The light sage-grey colour that was chosen in a folding shutter design, is particularly discreet and complimentary to the architectural features it aligns with. It can also be recommended for heritage buildings ,without ruining their character,Shutterway service is refreshingly professional, seamless and expert.Many thanks and very much appreciated.

The initial service was great! (the part where the quote arrives on the same day as inspection). Quote accepted, payment made the day there-after (3 July 2020) and standard turn-around times noted , i.e 4 weeks.Promised updates was not received (to be received during the process of manufacture as I am to understand), so on 23 July I followed-up on whether we are on track for installation by the end of the 4 weeks? Response received in good time (24 July) and advised that product is undergoing final coating finish and that I would receive communication by end July/start of August (estimated) from the installation team. Its 1pm on 3 August 2020 and knowing that I have made a prior enquiry, the decent CUSTOMER SERVICE etiquette would be to provide an update to keep the client informed...I have not yet heard a word. The compliments noted on the reviews does not depict my experience. No further business / recommendation from me.

After an attempted burglary at Sea Cottage, which we had restored and now run as an Airbnb business, we contacted Shutterway, who immediately gave us a quote, sent out their representative Dwayne, a very personable young man, to do the exact measurements and on acceptance of the quote, started with the manufacturing of our custom made front gate. We chose Shutterway because of the stylish look, important to us as the front view is our cover picture, and for the indestructability of the product. We were very impressed with the professionalism of the company and appreciate the fact that they went out of their way to have the gate completed ASAP, as we were leaving for a trip abroad.We can heartily recommend Shutterway as the answer to most security issues.
