Security officials took thier time trying to help show me what happened but ended up defending a Cape Town Metro Police camera surveillance malfunction on 18 Dec 2019 and claiming I am lying about my bakkie been broken into from the right Passenger window between 14:00-16:00 when I asked why the camera seems to conveniently not show what happened.The record was played and they were wrongSecondly the surveillance could not pick up the incident indicating two things: malfunction(very convenient), internal manipulation :Both very indicative of an existing lack of system maintenance, customer service or internal corruption.Thirdly feedback was received on the 30 Dec 2019 referring me to Cape Town Metro police for further information. Lessons learned: Please dont defend the surveillance system but try and help the customers. Leadership required from supervisor. Looking forward to Cape Town Metro police response.

This group is absolutely terrific. This morning, a Sunday morning in Capetown,, a young man grabbed my cellphone from my hand and ran off. Two women seeing what happened began screaming which alerted this security group. Within 15 minutes the young man was apprehended and my phone returned to me. I am an American tourist and am very impressed with both the women who knew to scream and the security team that jumped into action. Several lessons learned today. Very impressed and apprecitative.
