These guys run the most AMAZING open days each year. 10/10, highly recommended visit. I never knew a particle accelerator had so many uses in research, and its fantastic to meet other scientists showcasing the research that they do. Take your kids along if they have any interest in physics or chemistry whatsoever (just keep in mind that no under-16s are allowed in the accelerator rooms).Thank you to all their staff and open day participants! :)
