Very impressed with the Speck Pumps team. Our previous LEDs did not last, we have replaced with Speck Pumps LEDs and I am absolutely thrilled. They gave us practical advice, the product quality is awesome, they are really very helpful. I now only use Speck Pumps accessories - very happy with the product and the service that I received. And my pool now looks SPECKtacular!

Cheeky, arrogant sales service... So I purchased a Quality Pump from Pool City instead. Bought black pvc fittings as not available elsewhere, but certainly wont be back unless desperate.

Excellent pumps - strange but way cheaper on takealot

Reluctant to repair their own pumps tried to force me to buy a new water pump. How can they sell a water pump that is not water tight and must be mounted below a cover

Arrogance, poor service and average product quality.

Do not buy their Cartridge Filter system. Its absolute rubbish. I ran the system for 6 weeks and all the filter did was remove large grains of dirt. It did not remove the finer particles. I switched back to my sand filter and my pool was crystal clear in 3 days. I sent pictures and was told the system was working...... so will a 4 cylinder car if you remove 3 spark plug caps.... but the actual paper filter is of such inferior quality it will not remove finer particles. If you buy this system you WILL be wasting your money as they will not refund you when you discover its useless.

Bought a 200w speck pump and after a few months of use the pump housing cracked. Speck refused to replace the housing under warranty blaming me for causing the damage. Think twice about purchasing a speck pump because they dont honour their warranty

Awful! Terrible service. Dreadful communication. We were first told that our pumps were definitely covered by warranty. We were honest and said they had been flooded and asked if they were still covered, we were assured they were. Drove 2 hours from the Overberg to get them there. Then told they werent covered by the warranty. Then the price kept going up and up the longer they had the pumps. Nobody mentioned that they are in the dark ages and dont possess a card machine! We only found out because we asked. At R6500 for 2 pumps, youd think theyd be prepared!!Hard to imagine in our dreadful crime riddled country that most people carry that much cash! Id check them for tax evasion...Eventually it was cheaper just to buy new pumps, at R1000 less than for sale at dreaded Speck pumps, from Poolside services in llandsdown road, claremont.

Terrible after sales service. Blaming power surge for blown capacitor to get out of warranty. Had to wait 3 weeks to get pump back.

I have sent back two 0,75 kw Speck junk within 3 months which is apparently not under warranty due to water damage inside the pump.These pumps are manufactured for outside use . How did water gets inside i ask you ? Think twice before buying a Speck pump !!!!!!!

Quality pumps

Our newly purchased Speck Pump made strange noises right from the start, it did not work smoothly. We have 3 pumps that are in the same place and work under the same conditions. We had the pump that was connected to the Koi pond dismantled, had to buy a new one and now we are told that the damage was caused by our sand filter. We DO NOT HAVE A sand filter !!!! Now we are supposed to pay 1000 rand for the repair of the almost new pump. Absolutely unbelievable !!!!! Never again ...
