Very bad. The owner is very arrogant and Rude to customers and very racist at the same time.He does not respect consumer rights at all worse if the customer is a black person.I had a very bad encounter with him when I purchased garden pots worth R7505.Besides having the presence of his salesman, when he saw us loading, he thought we were stealing.The worst part was when I tried to exchange some of the pots which my client didnt like, he didnt even look at the pots but to tell us that they are dirt and chipped.I was petrified.

Thumbs down for Jades service today. I went specifically to buy a plant shelf which I had been eyeing out for several months - Im a regular visitor to Harrys. It was R380 so I took R400 cash with me to buy it today. When I arrived it had been moved (I noted a piece of wood on it had been broken, but easily fixable), and the price tag was gone. After waiting for Jade (who was on his phone for quite a while), he claimed the price was R475. I told him it was R380, I had brought the cash (my daughter can confirm as we looked at it several times before). He refused to budge on the price and was happy for me to leave without so much as an apology or any willingness to negotiate (when I said I was leaving he just shrugged his shoulders). I wont be back which is a pity as its just around the corner from me and all my Christmas presents were bought there, its very convenient. So I went to the Noordhoek nursery instead. Sorry Jade, but thats not good enough. When I went inside to ask to speak to the manager, they said he is the manager! How do I complain to the manager about his manager??! I wont be back unfortunately. Regards, Barbara

Great restaurant and nursery. Friendly Expert garden advice. I really enjoy the vibe here. It has become a favorite meeting place with friends. We live to drool over the plants and all the gardening ideas and then top it off with pancakes and cuppocino. Most of the plants i have bought have grown well and are healthy. They have an impressive indigenous range too.

Brilliant nursery with the most knowledgeable staff. We unknowingly forgot our wallet there and they went above and beyond to track us down and return it to us.

The people are so unbelievably helpful better than any other nursery in our area also I find that the plants transplant a lot better due to the high level of skill and care from the staff

This is a paradise of selections and ranges to choose from... For the quirky grower.. Harrys has every piece of equipment and accessory you can think of for small to medium sized gardening crops. I literally have no where else to look because I never find myself missing an item I require. I went to the Garden Centre looking for something specific - and found it. I was impressed by the large variety on offer. The staff went out of their way to be of assistance - they promote the centres image.

They have an average range of plants in average to poor condition. Not a great variety. They have no idea what loyal customers are about. They are overstaffed. Many items are more expensive. They have a captive market with little competition.

A lovely place to visit with Children. There is a great childrens play area. The Easy Digg Cafe serves good food with healthy options. The plant nursery staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

Since winter in Cape Town is delayed by a few weeks. The Cafe Deli at Harry Goemans is the perfect interseason hideaway. Plan your summer planting, read a book by the fire. And when the sun peaks out behind the clouds. The kids playground is safe and fun. Coffee supplied by Blue Door Roasters
