I can confidently recomment Yuri Arcurs Productions for both freelance models who are trying to enter the modeling space as well as models who have industry experience. Prior to working with Yuri Arcurs I had no modeling experience and fast forward 2 years later I have had the best experience ever. The staff, from the photographers to the producers and directors and all the way to the support staff, everyone has been so kind and supportive. Going to a shoot is always exciting because work doesnt feel like work instead it feels like a fun day spent with friends and family. I love it here!

I modeled twice for this company. My work experience was good. Very friendly staff although unorganized.However when it came to payment it’s taken now 5 weeks to get paid (still waiting). They are often unresponsive to messages, extremely unprofessional with finances. Take days to respond and sent no proof of payment until after I asked several times.All my information was spelled wrong for the transfer, the incorrect amount was sent, never received it and then finally they decided to pay me another way, which I had already suggested a month prior. Note: No proof of payment for the second transfer either.I’ve been modeling worldwide more than 8 years and never encountered such unprofessionalism in a company like this.Very disappointed because I would have loved to work for them again. Horrible experience from start to finish.Would not recommend, especially if you’re an international model.

Yuri Arcurs Productions used my Airbnb Cape Town house as a location. They turned my airbnb into a dream family home with their extra touches, whilst still managing to leave the airbnb in a better condition than what they found it. I would recommend this vibrant team to anyone, as their work ethic is professional and clean. Its amazing to see these young creatives at work :)

Reply to Christian Peters. We shot you 6 years ago from today. I can see you still hold a grudge. You are the first and only model we have ever had to send home early, in your case because of unprofessional behavior and indecency. It is correct, as you point out, that you urinated on set, but it was not in the middle of no-where, it was at a luxury villa, and it was the pot on the balcony you urinated in, which is simply unacceptable and disrespectful towards our staff and production. We did pay you for the days you worked, as well as paid the early flight home.It is also true we told you you are the model, so start doing what is on the shootplan because when you were told to smile for a photo for example, you would make faces and act as... a child to be honest. Our mistake as a professional and reputable company that expects respect in return, is most likely that we did not send you home earlier, which we should have done.

Phones not being answered

After flying across the world 32 hrs both ways from LA and back to shoot with yuri arcurs. (Which didn’t actually happen) you shoot with student photographers who pay him to be at his school and then sells the images they make. I was promised $2000 for the miserable 4 days of shooting non stop with barely any breaks. And when I said no to being face down in a dirty (almost vertical) stairwell because it was disgusting and not physically possible. I was told “you’re the model, you do what I tell you.” So I didn’t and then after 4 days of shooting and thousands of images and over 300 of me on his website for Sale he refused to pay me saying I was the worst model and so on although he wasn’t present for any of the shoots. Then threatend to counter sue me when I wanted to be paid claiming I “exposed myself” to his producer because I urinated in a bush outside in the middle of nowhere South Africa. BE WARNED DO NOT WORK THIS COMPANY. Since Year’s have passed I have heard man similar horror stories of people no being paid and so on. If you’re looking at this for possibly working for yuri arcurs. Save yourself the time of being totally taken advantage of and do literally anything else.
