I can highly recommend Marli for so many reasons,- She is very professional and super friendly- Her communication is very good and quick- She helped us by starting a board on Pinterest for ideas for the shoot and it helped us a lot to plan ahead- She made us all (age 6 - 86) feel very relaxed in front of her camera and this was clearly visible in the end results- We cannot thank her enough for her patience on the day and the fact that she was so accommodating when we went over our time...and even sneaked in some shots that was not planned- The photos she sent us is absolutely beautiful!!!The whole experience with Marli from beginning to end was really just a pleasure!Thank you Marli, you are so special!Xxx

Marli was our wedding photographer and even before we met her in person, we knew she was the right fit for our big day. We planned our wedding from abroad, which is scary at first, but Marli always offered to help in any way she could from giving us tips to helping with a timeline for the day. Marli took wonderful photos for my elopement wedding in Cape Town. Despite there only being four of us and the minister at the wedding she was totally unobtrusive yet managed to capture perfectly every element of the day and we were thrilled with the results. We would not hesitate to recommend her or to use her again for future events.

Marli Koen is incredible. Firstly lets talk about the experience. Marli makes you feel so welcome, so at ease and so happy on the run up to your big day. She did an engagement shoot with me and Adam before the wedding and oh my gosh it was so so so so fun. We laughed the whole way through. And that isnt an exaggeration. Adam, my husband, normally hates being photographed and he just gelled with her and was even more comfy in front of the camera than me. On the day Marli was literally like a wedding planner as well, keeping us calm and on track, but so sweetly and gently never being bossy just cooly knowing exactly what was going on and being there if I needed it. Also, I didnt know she was there or taking pics, it was so relaxed, I saw videos later and laughed because there she was the whole time without me knowing. Now lets talk about the actual pictures... They speak for themselves. But what you dont know is that no photographer has ever captured me or Adam like that and Ive done a bit of modelling so Ive worked with quite a few. I never dreamt of having photos like that. They are a treasure for our family, our future kiddies and grandkiddies in years to come, and us right now.
