This is their new premises and Im not far from them so I just went in to browse. They beautifully clean and helpful staff.

I just had the most amazing experience at the New Plax that I visited for the first time. Ive never been welcomed into a pharmacy before. At the corporates, I have to pick a number and sit in the queue as if I am in a production line. When my number is called, the pharmacist never spends more than 3 minutes with me. My experience with Plax was completely different. The staff welcomed me and they established my needs upon entering the store. The gentleman I spoke to examined my script and discussed my condition with me and showed real empathy while doing so. My script was filled and I left a happy patient. The atmosphere in the pharmacy was truly therapeutic. I shall definitely be going back to Plax Pharmacy. They have added so much value to my life in such a short space of time.Thank you PlaxThe cherry on top is that they trade from 8am until midnight everyday

I am very impressed and grateful for the amazing service I receive from Plax Pharmacy in Lansdowne. They make you feel so at home and the support and concern they show is very sincere. My recent experience where they assisted and recommended the concentration supplement called Memrise, has really changed my daughters life in terms of studying. She is a Diabetic and initially I was very concerned that it would not be compatible with her Insulin. Brian took the time to read up on it as well as other reviews which gave me the peace of mind that it will be safe for her to use. It has helped her with her studies so much without any side effects whatsoever. Thank you so much Plax Pharmacy for the amazingly great service!!

Just wanted to say thank you for the excellent staff at Plax Pharmacy. It has always been my to go place for medical assistance. The staff at Plax are amazing and always go the extra mile in assisting. They always ask the right questions to try and help the best they can. They are friendly and always have that personal touch. I have been visiting Plax for years as I have lived in the area all my life and every time I walk into the Pharmacy I am remembered and greeted by name. As for today, I wanted to give a extra thank you to Brian Wyngaard for your help. For giving us all the information and options available to us. For prescribing the best medication for us in trying to help us feel better. Thank you for your time and your knowledge. It made our day.

Parking is terrible. Only one entrance and exit. When we attempted to exit the parking we were in the middle of the road when an approaching customer blocked us in and refused to move causing a jam with the other customers also attempting to exit. The staff and “security” were terrible at assisting and de-escalating the situation.

Pathetic service. The person at the dispenser issued incorrect medication. Took more than an hour to load 2 members to our profile. Horrendous experience.

The Pharmacy charged R170 for a 200ml of Prospan Syrup, R50 more expensive than dischem and clicks and R30 more than other 24hr pharmacies. Its a bladdy rip off man I wont support them again until they rectify their prices. People are struggling, please recognize this.

What great service from the Team at Plax Pharmacy this evening, in particular Brian. They work long hours and I am sure my call at 22:00 was the last thing they needed on a busy night, but they were friendly, patient and helpful. I will use them whenever I am in the area. :)

While Plax has improved their facilities several times and functions as any pharmacy would, weve encountered blatantly rude, sometimes argumentative locums and their prices are inflated (you can source the identical products/medications for less elsewhere - literally just further down the road...). The only benefit is the fact that theyre open later than most other pharmacies.

Ive been to plax Pharmacy and was very impressed with the service i received. I was suffering terribly with hayfever allergies and none of the medication I was using was effective. After explaining all this to Brian, he recommended I use allerway 5 along with flomist, was impressed with how informative he was. My allergies are now under control and such a relief. Its a good feeling knowing that there is a pharmacy with informative staff and who take the time and care. Well done.

Open till 12am they moved next to police station friendly staff always very helpful and they have parking quick in and quick out they also have a 24hr pharmacy opposite ismailia school thank you

Fantastic venue and service

If I could give this pharmacy a 0 rating I would.My husband went to this pharmacy just for cough medicine for me and came out with R1000 worth of medication and vitamins. Meds that I did not need. The guy by the counter literally spoke to him and said I need immune boosters. The guy gave my husband 2 bottles of each medicine and 3min later I wanted to return it and they said I could not return it because of there return policy. It’s amazing what they would do just for sales. They see you have medical aid and want to rip you off from it. I won’t recommend this pharmacy to anyone they are a rip off!

The manager was stubborn and rude. He refused to apologize for taking on a customer who was angry at bad service. Shocking really.

I love this pharmacy. Its open til midnight and I always get fast and friendly service. I go there once a month and get all my meds from them because the service and care is a easier than other private and franchised pharmacies.

Hi, youve double charged my card. The card machine didnt spit out a receipt because the lady at the till put the paper into the machine backwards. She then showed me a blank slip and redid the transaction. I have been double charged for my purchase and can prove this with a bank statement. How do I proceed.

Service from pharmacist and assistant leaves alot to be desired, serious lack of professionalism and customer service. I walked into a completely empty pharmacy and the pharmacist was counting cash on the counter at the dispensary he just about acknowledged me and pointed to his colleague who was meant to assist me, she then pointed back at him, and both of them continued doing their admin while i watched and waited to be helped. After being ignored and made to feel as if i was a nuisance i decided to take my business elsewhere, where i was assisted with a smile.

Never had a problem with anyone at the pharmacy, although the long queue sometimes is a pain. But now with Jerome, his friendly and helpful manner and staff that is always willing to assist, in addition to the extended trading hours, I dont mind the wait..... Will not go anywhere else.

Check expiry dates when buying and inquire about price.I always bought medicine from them whether it was a script, over the counter or any other thing that they had on the shelf if I was in the store instead of stopping and going to another store. But not anymore not only do they sell expired stuff which if it is not in the current month it would either be within the next 2 months. The price that was on the item was not what I was charged when I inquired I was told that is still the old price.

Im still waiting on my refund use ppl r the worst chemist ever you cheat ppl out of there money will never buy there again

The staff by the baby section is fine, the staff by thr prescription medication messes in my mouth while I speak to my wife regarding my cobdition, it irritates me although I hold back a lot everytime I go there because unfortunately they are the closest, however ive had better service by nicer people from different pharmacys, 😡 people skills to particulars is not work ethics

You deserve no stars, charging r30 for a cheap surgical mask during the time people need it most. Always supported your pharmacy since you moved but this is not on.

Items on the shelf priced at +/- R30.00 clearly marked on the box at R30.00 Specifically the sinumax and when i checked my slip i was charged +/- R62.00 ,went back inside questioned it , the pharmacist was rude and said well the price is R62 and it is not he`s fault the box has a price of R30 (wonder whose fault it is then?) as hes computer scans it correctly at R62 , I said i didnt appreciate the service as I have been coming to the pharmacy for years and the fact that he falsely tickets meds at half the price it actually scans at is unacceptable and feeding customers false info , he shouted loudly that I lied and I dont frequent the pharmacy (not that it was relevant anyway) , I felt he was completely unprofessional , not even the least bit apologetic. As a family we have been going to plax pharmacy ever since I can remember because we grew up not too far from it, lots of people have complained about the new ownership and yet I thought lets give the new guys a try as it is convenient to go there too , BUT NEVER AGAIN ,not too mention the fact that for a pharmacy it looks completely unattractive & dirty. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TERRIBLE SERVICE FALSE PRICING AND BAD ATTITUDE I have now found a friendlier , cleaner more helpful pharmacy close to my area too :-)
