The new museum in Cape Town, the legislative capital of South Africa, was transformed from an old cylindrical granary. The original silo was built in 1921, measuring 187 feet (approximately 57 meters). It was once the tallest building in the southern hemisphere. A vertical concrete pipe is used to classify and store corn from all over the country. The designer used corn kernels as a prototype on the original pipe, and cut holes with beautiful lines. Just looking at the exterior of the building will not bring surprises, but the inside is amazing; it would have been eliminated, and the multiple tubular granary buildings were boldly remodeled by the designer. Those who like the beauty of architecture will definitely not miss it.
