I am deeply disturbed that our health facilities still have time to refuse patient health assistance. My brother took his baby to the clinic yesterday and was refused assistance, the baby was due for his injection and instead they were told to go there nearest clinic which is Gustrouw clinic. What I dont understand is the patient resides in Strand and the distance between Gustrouw clinic and Fagan clinic is exactly the same yet assistance was denied. I mean who does this! And especially to an infant, if anything happens to the kid and then? but hey I guess thats the reality of our health SYSTEM in SA
