My wife and son were taken care of very well by professional staff with care and compassion. Much appreciate the work that the sergeants did in the theater to. A grateful father.

Best hospital by far to give birth at.. Had an amazing experience even though it was Lockdown and had to give birth alone, the Drs and nurses in Theatre was amazing especially the Aneathetist, she made me feel safe and kept a eye on me through the whole procedure. Drs and nurses were exceptional.Thank you for my stay pleasant stay. Excellent hospital 👏👏👏

The best doctors Ive ever come across from all department Ive been to including oncology, breast clinic, Maternity, covid and radiation.Most nurses at maternity are helpful and friendly, however it seems night shift staff have a custom to be lazy and sleep if doctor isnt around.Overall, my experience here has always been good thanks to the dedicated doctors and hygienic facilities.

Spend many days here and the Doctors and staff were amazing. With many thanks to them we have healthy baby girl.

I prefer giving birth to my kids at Groote Schuur than any other state hospital. The fact that interns are doing the check up, you knows that its been done by the book and nothing gets unseen. As a diabetic patient in pregnancy, Groote Schuur is the best hospital to be at.

I was very scared when I was first referred to GSH maternity as a gestational diabetic patient. I can only say that Ive had a great experience there. My baby is now 1 week old and yes I am glad I wont have to go back there anytime soon but if I had to I know if be in excellent hands. I had 3 stays there during my pregnancy and yes I do wish the food was abit better lol. One thing I have to say is that ward MJ has the best staff. The sisters are extremely helpful and friendly and they made being there a little bit more fun. Thank you to the staff and especially MJ sisters. You made this journey amazing 😘😘😘😘

Always short staffed,students are not treated right by permanent staff,I dont like it at all,its just is have to be there

This the First Hospital in the world to do a successful HEART TRANSPLANT. You can come with your family to witness such a life long phenomenon.

Some floors the Nursing stations on the ball. Others not helpfull and dont speak Afrikaans. Ground floor behind glass not helpfull at all. More intrested in their music than assisting clients. The floor numbers not visible enough. The numbers are situated on the floor infront of the lifts. Currently only the one lift works.
