The most unprofessional law firm that I have ever come across. They have failed to respond to both emails and phone messages for over a year now. I paid them a deposit of R10 000 for them to proceed against non-paying tenants. They sent 2 emails to them. When requesting an account for the time and money spent they have been done a disappearing act. Next step for me will be a formal complaint to the law society

Lets start with positive things. Douw Steyl and his assistant Karen Matthews from DLS Law were always polite, without known attorneys ego and Douw showed that he cares about our issue and genuinely want to help (at least in those extremely rare cases when he answered the phone or returned the call). That is only reason why not to give 1 star. Unfortunately, provided service was terrible.They wasted so much of our valuable time, they send demand letter email to wrong client, legal answers were vague, late for meeting, calls are almost never answered. Although Cape Town is often in its own time zone, this was definitely the worst professional/consultant service we ever experienced in South Africa.We rarely write bad reviews, reason for this time is to save other peoples precious time, energy and money as we dont want anyone to feel the same like we did.
