Went there with a open mind to have fun and boy o boy did we have fun! Karaoke at its best. Its a nice gem in long street. The cover charge to go inside is a little high and the booze a little pricey. Other than that, if you looking for a good night of karaoke then you will get it here.

It actually was a lot of fun. Good for small and large groups. Take turns chosing songs and singing. Private rooms are available for parties. Place is friendly and frequented by a variety of people but a slightly younger crowd. Service was quick. Please could be cleaner and certain areas had an unpleasant smell

Great vibe! Definitely plan on visiting again. The crowd ranged between 20 and 35 in age. It was very easy to book a song and the bar wasnt overcrowded.

Decent atmosphere and reasonably busy, and the drinks were quite cheap.If you want to participate in the karaoke though, it seems to be quite focused on regulars. You might have to push quite hard to get your requests taken seriously.

Great karaoke bar. Entrance can be steep, but very worth it. If its busy its tough to get your song come up, but when it does, the crowd is on your side and what a feeling that is. Good people. Be careful on the street outside though, long street pick pockets are always about. And dont leave without a king fu shot.

The Manila Bar is a Cape Town establishment and I always a guaranteed good night out. The cosy karaoke atmosphere, affordable drinks and nook-and-cranny vibe of this bar make it great for a good group night out. Super fun. You have to go early to place your song requests otherwise it only plays well after midnight. I think the DJ throws some requests out, so just go and check if its taking too long to play.

As far as karaoke goes, this is the most fun youll have in Cape Town. A standing crowd, almost any popular song you can thing of, and then some, and an energetic atmosphere. There is a small outside area when you need to take a break or go for a smoke, and the drinks are well priced. On busy nights there is a second floor of karaoke that opens up. This second floor is also sometimes used for other events, shows or parties.

Lively, cheerful place with good bar service. We never actually sang on the mini-stage. We just came to check out the place and had a good time singing along and dancing regardless.

The karaoke spot is great, I come here regular and there’s always a cool crowd. However, today for the first time I asked for a glass of tap water and the staff charged me 5 rands for it. I’m disgusted now, and very sad.

The boss was really friendly, we went there on a Friday, maybe it was because we got there early, it was slightly quiet. But it has a really good vibe, maybe not the latest latest songs, but it has songs from like 3-4 years ago

BEST KAROEKE VENUE IN CAPE TOWN. Dark and not many distinguishing features regarding the decor. But : amazing atmosphere and the crowd is amazing too.

Have seen awesome local bands there. Heard things are running full-steam since using an in-house sound company. Can recommend also for a night out.

Nice kareoke bar in the heart of Long Street. Parking is never an issue around the bar if you plan not to drink and drive.If you use cabs, there is a bus stop directly opposite where you can wait for the cab.

If you want cheap shots and a spot to sing your heart out Manilla Bar is the place to be! It is the best karaoke spot in town and a great way to spend the last few hours of your night out before everything closes.Avoid if there are bands playing though.

I like singing here, weekends it is a bit busy so you might not be able to sing that much. Drinks are on the cheaper side for CBD which compensates for the entrance fee.
