Was at a conference there today. The food was delicious and more than enough. Facilities were very clean. Staff friendly. View from the pool area is awesome. Drinks on a warm night would be quite an amazing experience.

I have a laundry pick up and delivery business in Cape Town I have been doing this for 4 years. I have picked up and delivered from almost all the Hotels and Guesthouses in Cape Town. I arrived at the Radisson Blu on Riebeek street. I have picked up and delivered laundry there countless times over the years.Today 5 October 2021 I came to deliver a customer’s laundry, I told the lady behind the counter that I have laundry to deliver to the concierge for a guest of theirs. She proceeded to call the room to hear if he is there.A man interrupted the lady to hear what is going on. He looks at the guests’ name on the laundry invoice and says while tapping the invoice “This is a problem guest; I am not keeping it for him”.The man looked at the laundry invoice again and saw the guest stays on the 15th floor he immediately said “All the people living on the 15th floor have bumped their heads “.I then asked him to speak to the manager which he then made very apparent that he is the manager.He refused to keep the laundry for their guest. I told him this is not good customer service. Which he replied, “It is your customer not mine”. I said he is one of your paying guests. The manager then said, “He is a resident not a hotel guest”. What difference does this make?He then said “I will make sure no one will use your laundry service “.I called the customer to tell him I must take it back to my branch while on the phone the manager grabbed the laundry from me and carried it out to the street and left it there.I have never experienced such unprofessionalism and lack of customer care in my life. I know this man is not a representation of the Radisson Blu.I hope the real managers’ see this.

It was really disappointing receiving this experience as I have been to 2 other Radissons in Cape Town.We were not informed of where we could park, not informed upon arrival what time the restaurant or bar closes, when we wanted to order and we were on time then the person was not at their post.We then ordered room service which was so cold when we received it, without a steak knife for the sirloin, no condiments or even salt and pepper.Then the shower leaks all over the floor so you are walking in water and also just 1 robe instead of 2!Must be honest I will not recommend or choose to stay at this facility ever again.

We had the most wonderful stay. The service was excellent and our room was sparkling clean with the comfiest bed. The fitness centre has the basics and the breakfast was amazing with very attentive staff. You have a view of the city and the hotel is centrally located. Paid underground parking is available.

The hotel client service is top notch and everything was up to standard. The only thing is that you guys dont make enough provision for halaal food on your menu. The room smelled like smoke/weed. You could tell they tried to get rid of the smell, but its still very noticeable. There was also a wet spot on the carpet when we got to the room.We wanted to order food, but our room didnt have a menu. When I phoned reception, I was told they are too busy, I need to come down and get a menu or she can read it to me. Which doesnt make sense, because she said she is busy, but she has time to read me a whole menu. I had to go get the menu myself. We ordered food just after 7 PM. I phoned at 8:05 PM to ask where the food was. We were told it should be there in 5 minutes. At 8:25 we still didnt have our food. I called to cancel the order.The parking is also very inconvenient.We had a few other options for around the same price, and Im frustrated that I picked this hotel. Ill never go near it again.The person at the front desk was Nikayla/Mikayla and James.Do yourself a favor and book a different hotel.

Beautiful, well placed accommodation in the heart of Cape town. It is comfortable and clean. The reception desk is always willing to be of assistance and Covid-19 restrictions are observed.

The hotel is neat and very clean. The personnel is very friendly and assisting and James went out of his way to assist with requests from guests. The rooms are very clean and beautiful and quiet. The stay per night is very affordable and very reasonable. Will definitely stay at this hotel again with my next visit to Cape Town.

The Hotel seems awesome at first glance. However, once you reach the bar on the 1st floor, you realize that this place is going backwards. The reception reeks of potpourie and then the service sucks.I will never go here again. The beer was hot and the prices were sky high.

Rooms are great but the service at the Piano has left a sour taste.Service was very slow, had two tables: one with just myself and another with 11 pax, sauces took forever to arrive? Food had to be warmed up again? Kitchen ran out of lamb shank? Service was more than slow.

Stay was lovely but unfortunately the bar and restaurant offer no vegan options on the menu at all. Everything has either meat or dairy in it. So vegetarians aren’t catered for either.

The hotel is right at the heart of Cape Town, well positioned for the business travellers. Its well located at the corner of Long Street the party zone of the city, for those searching for the night life. Loved it!!

Really nice hotel, excellent breakfast (ask for the full house omelette). Only downside was the lifts were out of order for a while during the stay which meant a few delays. That was the only downside, otherwise excellent. Would highly recommend.

On the September 20th I had a call out@21:00 for neck,back and shoulder pain.Your guest traveled for 18 hours and wanted some manipulation,stretching and muscle alignment so that he could enjoy his holiday with his family.I received a warm welcome as I arrived and had a friendly conversation while waiting for my client to fetch at the waiting area.Radisson Blu is welcoming,warm and friendly...thank you👏

The one great asset of this hotel is their staff. I have one strong objection. Cape Town is the most Halaal Friendly city in the country. Id like to know from the Radisson management how it is that there are absolutely no choices for Muslim patrons on the hotels menus. In as far as business travel is concerned I would recommend other hotels in the area as this property is most definitely not geared for the business traveller. The business centre as it is described comprises a desk and one monitor. You could easily miss it. They boast rain showers in their superior rooms. I would like to also know how on earth on is supposed to enjoy that when there is no shower door, resulting in one spending up to 20 minutes cleaning up the water from the shower that then floods into the bathroom. A total waste of time. Another factor is that unlike other hotels where even a standard room has a desk and place to work, this hotel does not. I am extremely disappointed with this stay which for me was a waste of good money.In response my review above, I received a response that clearly implied that was not telling the truth and indirectly implied that I should take my business elsewhere. I sent an email to the GM to raise further objection. The Hospitality Manager reached out to deal with my observations and in doing so restored my high regard for the Radisson, which I have utilised frequently over the years. Hence my review of the initial rating. Thank you Mr Charl Schoeman.I would recommend that the person that responded to my initial rating be re-trained in hospitality management.

I stayed at the residences within the Radisson Blu Hotel. This is a fantastic hotel located within Cape Town City Central. The Hotel exudes an air of quiet and effortless luxury. It boasts decent restaurants on site with a range of food menus to cater across tastes. Be sure to try out the great coffee in the bar next to the lobby. Overall, I would recommend the hotel for both long and short stays.

We planned to hold a conference in Cape Town during March 2020, but with the Australian travel restrictions in place, we were unable to keep the bookings. The management of Radisson Blu Hotel was very understanding and allowed a full refund on all of the bookings we made. This is more than what any other hotel had done for us, so we really appreciate it, and because of their generosity, we will continue to stay there for years to come.

Rooms are spacious with nice city and mountain views and comfortable beds and clean showers.The hotel is within walking distance to the Greenmarket and the sightseeing Hop on and hop off red bus. The area around the hotel is safe to walk during the day but not during nighttime.A free shuttle bus from the hotel to the waterfront and back is offered every half an hour which is extremely convenient. Uber and taxis are also available at the hotel entrance.Great breakfast included!

Really nice rooms - comfortable and exceptionally clean. The staff at the front desk were incredibly helpful. The staff at breakfast were really slow and I ended up grabbing something from the buffet instead.

Nice hotel. Good amenities. Room was spacious and so was the bathroom. Nice shower. Helpful staff. Location is good within a 10 min walking distance from the convention center. A little farther away from V&A waterfront but there is a free shuttle every hour from the hotel. I requested a late check out and got it for free. All in all a pleasant stay. Would recommend. Dont know the price as my stay was sponsored by my organization for a conference.

Had an awesome weekend. The cleaning lady did a great job, the receptionist made us feel most welcome, the security was well trained regarding covid prevention and the restaurant staff namely Sabree Louw, Melrick Harrison and the chef went the extra mile with the anniversary dessert. The breakfast was amazing especially the fullhouse omelette. We will definitely go back again and again.
