The interior was beautiful, a modern twist with vintage decorative pieces. Comfort at its best with inviting beds and rooms. Luxurious and comforting. They have work spaces which are a home away from home. We loved the spaces and the very friendly and accomodating staff. Definitely a must visit again.

My mother and I spent the night at Old Foundry Hotel and we loved it.The concierge who checked us in was extremely helpful and welcoming. The room had beautiful decor and a vast selection in the minibar of the best beverages. But I think our highlight was the blackout curtains, the extremely comfortable bed and great pillows. I am extremely pedantic when it comes to pillows - I am that person who travels with my memory foam pillow everywhere - so I was stressed when I had forgotten mine for the night and I was over the moon that the pillows were super comfortable.Would recommend it to anyone travelling to Cape Town because it is also such a central location. Its within walking distance of the V&A Waterfront and some of the most delicious restaurants in Green Point.

A Stay-cation I didnt want to end. It was just one night but I felt so comfortable from check in til I sadly had to head home the next day. From the start you are caught by the aesthetics of the space, with industrial elements from the crane hanging high above you in the foyer to the opulence of the the plush velvet loungers.I felt genuinely welcomed by all the staff, almost felt like I stepped into an episode of Cheers where everyone knew my name. I wasnt a room number. Having backpacked most of my 20s away, feeling like I belong in the space is crucial. The room was everything and more for me with the bronze bath taking the cake! I didnt have any cake, so I settled for a cup of Earl Grey whilst I soaked until I felt all the lockdown stress had been diluted from my system. The room I was given had a special bed with all the features explained as to why it felt like I was sleeping on a marshmallow with back support in a pamphlet, and after complimenting the pillows at check out I got a 50% voucher to the store!Apparently depending on what night you stay you can choose to join any activities they have arranged with the members. There was a movie night when I was there, but on a Wednesday there is a Salsa club. I ended up going out on the town for dinner with friends, but had a night cap at the bar upstairs. Do not ask for recommendations on what cocktail to drink because you will not stay for just 1.Cafe/Coffee downstairs with a sneaky bar for mimosas. Stick around on a Saturday for the late brunch from Chef Luis.Other features of value :- self catering capabilities for long time stayers and business visitors - washing machine/dryer; stove; toaster; kettle; a real fridge (not a bar fridge)- library nook, actually lots of nooks to set up a laptop and get work done- black out curtains (always a winner)- good aroma choice (I know weird to think of but so often overlooked, no one likes the smell of cheap airfreshner)- close to everythingIf I could rate it a million stars I would.

What an experience! The personal touch when checking in and throughout my stay was what impressed me most. With high quality food, the bar with live music and a sundowner on the roof, fast WiFi without additional cost and logins, walking distance from the Waterfront – they really offer everything you need.
