Great friendly staff at Retreat day hospital, got my covid vaccine there today. Speedy service all the way. Keep it up guys

The worst hospital ever, arrived there at 7 am doctor olny attend me at 5pm. They wasnt alot of people but everything was unorganized

Teirrible I ve been on the phone to the cliinic for more than 30 minutes no answer shocking i eventuall press the trauma number and got through immediately then put through again to the main board no surprise there no one answered - then just got cut off terrible terrible for a clinic

I get there at 08:00, then wait for my name to be called. An hour or two later my is called and I wait to see the nurse. Only at 15:30 I get up to to ask at window one why I have not been called and they tell me they work on a colour system but I am the only one of the morning people left, waiting to be helped. They have started helping people who arrived at 14:00. This is not the first time it has happened nd I am sick and tired of our health system not taking its patience seriousl. Sometimes you are dead sick waiting whole day to be helped and at five she you go to the pharmacy they tell you, that you must wait till the night shift staff arrive and have to wait til six and eventually if you are lucky get home at 19:00. Does this not sound ridiculous. People fear to go to the Day Hospital because this is what we have to endure. If you dare ask the staff why you have to wait so long they get defensive and rude.

First time. I must say the staff are friendly and helpful and do a fantastic job with the limited resources they have. The WC does need a bigger budget so they can supply TP and soap. Its stuffed with people so come early if you want to get sorted out. Budget on 4+ hours.

Poor service and you wait for more than 5 hours to be seeing by a doctor. I give them 0/10☹️

My sister is at the day hospital today from 08h45 till 21h15 with her 3 year old toddler who is feverish and has painful legs. His vitals were only taken after 16h00 pm. The night staff inform her at 21h00 that she will probable be helped by 05h00 the next morning. This is ridiculous, seriously.

As an outpatient from grootte schuur hospital I monthly collect my monthly meds from this day hospital.. yesterday the 25th June I was supposed to receive my last batch of meds as my next appointment at GSH is the 12th July... I was flatly denied my meds by this pharmacy dispenser and when I told him when my next dr date was he told me in lying to him.. so now for the next three weeks I will have to survive without my chronic meds... Who gives him the right to refuse my meds... No wonder this countries health system is so damn bad.

Free treatment and medicine...though waiting -period long

Spent close to 4 hrs in this place eventually gave up and left.
