I visited Iris House and left with excitement about all that is done at the encouraging childrens hospice. The children that we could spend time with were loving the attention, the games and the teachers spending time with them. I am aware of the need the children with their families have, and Iris House strives to give all they can to help and support families and the growth of the childrens skills. I am thankful for being able to see what Iris House stands for and strives to do for others.

The passion and dedication of the staff really stood out for me during the brief time I spent onsite working with Sue and her team. The facilities are very welcoming and cater for children with a wide range of interests and abilities. Children who receive respite care at Iris House can also benefit from lovely outdoor spaces and activities, under the watchful eye of trained carers (I wish my garden was as well tended as the outdoor spaces at Iris House). I want to commend Sue and her team for the valuable service that they are providing to families of children with significant disabilities.
