This beautiful venue offers gentle walks through the vineyards on the estate.An added bonus is the possibility of breakfast or lunch at Jonkershuis after a walk.A generous breakfast is served and the coffee is good.The historically significance of the farm, homestead and outer buildings makes interesting reading and a visit to the homestead is a must.

I discovered the Groot Constantia Bath while wandering along the garden of the estate. It was a beautiful discovery as it was so unexpected. I cant imagine how cool it would have been to be able to dive in. There is a statue in the bath as well which is very funny. I need to search in my pictures and see if I have captured a picture of it. I hope youll be able to find this bath! Its behind the garden, hided behind the big trees.

I am fortunate enough to live on a property that opens onto the farm itself, its a privilege Im thankful for daily. To come across the bath while exploring the farm was lovely. The fact that it is still there is testament to how well things were built back then. As I sat there I actually tried to imagine life on the farm in the 18th century. This little piece of history if it could speak would in my opinion have many interesting tales to tell. I do recommend seeing as much as you can on the farm. Being Government owned. One does see the lack of funds with regards to certain projects . Though a great effort to maintain the farm can be seen. Check out the museum for a detailed explanation from one of the guides.
