A gem of a find, this little known historical site is the old prison treadmill, used to punish prisoners held at the old Breakwater prison next door. PRisoners had to keep walking else the levers would bang them on the shins, causing intense pain. They would do this for up to 24 hours with a 5 minute break per hour. Sometimes they would go even longer. The cells it is located at the end of are the old death row cells.
