Huge respect to Joshua Penny for, not only finding this cave in 1799, but to also have made this place his home for 14 months. Ive been there twice, and it is a serious climb to get there, make no mistake. This must be one of the most difficult places on Table Mountain to get to. Do not attempt to get there without an experienced guide, and make sure you are fit enough for the hike, and carry more water than what you think you need.
