Insurance companies always get a bad rap, but Ive had nothing but a good experience with Outsurance. 2 years ago I spilled liquid over my laptop, and very quickly got paid out for a repair. Then just recently, my laptop stopped working altogether due to a power surge. They are sending me a new laptop this week. Each agent Ive spoken to has been nothing but friendly and professional. I would like to thank Tshego who has handled my recent claim with utmost care.

I barely ever use my insurance and have never missed a payment after years with this provider. Yesterday I requested a call back, the lady could barely understand or speak English. She dropped the line and still hasnt called me back. Best part was that I could not request another call via the app as I only get one chance lol? Disgusting service. How difficult is it to call your (long term) clients. Definitely looking for another provider. I think Ill probably go back to miway - at least they have the decency to call and not leave clients hanging.Funny thing is that in the past I use to get service surveys. You are very lucky your reps were clever enough to not send one yesterday.UPDATE after your response.So now you are blatantly lying via this public page as no one has contacted me, certainly no one named Ethel.Do you just thumb suck these things? I hope that someone checks this response so that you can be held responsible for just saying whatever you like via this public thread.Your customer service is unfortunately not proportional to your product services. Kindly show me and your manage the proof of this contact that and the relative mentions that you speak off.Zero stars for your lying response and effort.

Only Outsurance would pay out a claim for a laptop and then keep that laptop on your insurance, removing the one that was not stolen. The staff are unprofessional, and seemingly not very intelligent - though this might just be their cant care less attitude towards their customers coming across as stupidity.

Outstanding Service and response. I have a burst geyser, logged an incident on the Outsurance App. I received a call back immediately and they arranged a plumber which arrived within 30 minutes. Once theplumber confirmed the geyser needed to be replaced, they ordered the geyser and are currently replacing it. This is within a time span of 3-4 hours since I logged the call. Brilliant service.

Very poor service from Outsurance, I sent a query via the website for a vehicle warranty. I receive a call back asking me what im looking to insure, I inform the lady that its a vehicle warranty im interested in not insurance and she imediately puts the phone down.About an hour later I receive another call, the agent then asks a couple of questions this is after i told him im interested in a vehicle warranty. He asks me about the color of my car (insurance question), i inform him that i am interested in a VEHICLE Warranty!!! not insurance.He then says that I have to complete an Insurance quotation first and then we can do the warranty, I then said that im not interested in insurance and he then goes on to tell me that Outsurance is rated the best company and that he can give me R500,00 if he cant beat my current premiums. FOR THE 600TH TIME I AM NOT INTERESTED IN CARINSURANCE!!! I enquired about a other product, do not try to sell me something completely different!!! Seriously, absolutely pathetic service from outsurance.

Wow! Just wow! Outsurance is so out there with technology and their customer service is next level.I had a flat tire in my jeep which is stationary at home, so this wouldnt classify as an emergency, but rather a value ad service for our policy.When I called the customer service team, while on the line they connected me to the nearest towing company and like in the uber app, I could track the towing vehicle approaching my house.Im seriously wowed. A situation that was a bit of a pain (i cant change a jeep tire on my own) became absolutely a no issue at all, in a matter of 30 mins everything was resolved.Outstanding!Rose

Love outsurance. With them since i got my lisence and my car in 2008. They really are the best and i dont care who says what. They have honestly been so good to me all these years. Best price one monthly premium and lowest rate on excess. Keep it up outsurance. Thank you for calling me at 03:00 am in the morning to assist me on the N2. You always go the extra mile and that is why im with you.

Very poor when it comes to paying out claims. Forces you to use their service providers, which is far away from your residence... Huge access amounts on the little they pay out. Would not recommend.

I keep getting calls from their marketing team and every other department they have access on asking me WHY my BOYFRIEND doesnt want their insurance, I may go mad... He doesnt want your insurance, he has literally blocked your numbers because when he asked for a quote you kept him on the line for 30+ minutes and at the end before giving him a quote you had the audacity to ASK FOR HIS BANKING DETAILS... When asked why the response was Oh so we can just make the process easier when you decide to go with us. LOL. Hes politely declined continuing the conversation then and there. Since then, the harassment hasnt stopped. Might I suggest your Quotation department take a brief Code of Ethics course, prior to ever speaking to a potential customer again?K Thanks. Bye.

My rating actually has nothing to do with there service its just that if I are see one more advert on DSTV Im going to scream. Its making me feel very negative against them. Since 5 today I think Ive been subjected to the same flipping ad more than 10 times in 3 hours and their other ads for life insurance probably another 2. ITS ENOUGH ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pinky is a very good worker. Responds in minutes. I waited 3 days for a quote from PSG and they still havent sent one. Outsurance response times is very fast and their premiums are good.

Although the staff are very friendly and helpful at Outsurance, the company has taken no time to carefully choose their 3rd party partners. The premium might be lower than other insurance companies but I can assure you that the process of your car being repaired is long, tedious and stressful. Complaining doesnt help because the claims/complains officers hands are just as tied as yours are and although they pretend to help, theres nothing being done.

Missed one payment of R96. 00 Asked for 6 months bank statements to prove I couldnt afford to pay and subsequently claim was denied. Is this even legal?!?! One missed payment and for the first time? Astonished and dissapointed. Thanks Donovan Van Wyk. Im going to make you famous!!!

Sent 6 different groups of people for a roof leakage and a month later the problem is still not resolved. no communication whatsoever going on between the people that work in and with that company, very very bad service

Now they are also getting desperate, just got a phone call from them at 5.20 pm, asking if they can offer our clients their insurance!!! do they not know what is going on out there....absolutely disgusting...lets concentrate on staying alive right now....not stupid insurance offers...pathetic

Try canceling your policy. They refuse to listen to you. They put you on hold forever and speak to you in a very condescending manner. Worst experience ever. OUTsurance teach some of your staff manners
