We cannot recommend Nu Experiences enough. They helped us plan our wedding from pre-covid and despite all the delays and frustrations, they held our hands through it all. We can honestly say that we had the most incredible day and despite the logistics being difficult, Nu Experiences made it look like the easiest thing in the world. We found Nu on a simple google search and Decided to meet in person, as she was one of the few companies that actually responded to us within a very quick time period. Some people responded within a week or 2, but Nu’s response was almost immediate…After the very first meeting with NU, we decided to go with her company, as we felt it was a right match for our needs. We cancelled the other 3 meetings we had scheduled with other Event Planners.From the very first meeting and all subsequent meetings, Nu was always extremely calm, professional and always reassuring. We had some crazy requests, numerous changes, some late night calls/whatsapps and even some just plain stupid ideas we looked into. Nu guided us through the process of choosing what would and what would not work for the event, yet allowing us to keep our personality well reflected in the event.The Wedding weekend was a massive success, and everything from the Dinner on Friday night to the Outdoor Ceremony alongside the river, and the Wedding hall, was beyond perfection.One of the most remarkable aspects of the wedding for me, besides my guests was the attention to detail that everyone noticed. Nu also got my “Vision” of table decoration, spot on.. When I saw it all setup for the first time, I was gob smacked, as it was even better than what I had envisaged. Nu took my requirements here and delivered over and above what I had expected.Nu, throughout the entire process was always calm, cool and collected, and trust me, we needed this, as we often started stressing about the small stuff. Nu certainly always had a positive “can do”, attitude… I even had some very positive comments directed at Nu, from the other suppliers we used for the wedding, and I think she was the perfect coordinator between the suppliers the venue and us.I really have no hesitation in recommending Nu for future customers. I will certainly call on Nu should I ever require her skills again. She started out as our wedding planner and ended up as part of the family, simply because she had such a huge contribution to the ultimate success of our wedding. So many people attending our wedding, commended Nu Experiences as they felt it was one of the best weddings they have attended and were able to see the effort and coordination Nu brought to the wedding. Firstly a big THANK YOU to Nu and her team for making our wedding day truly special and memorable.When Josh proposed in Oct 2016 we both knew immediately that we wanted to get married in Franschhoek but living in Australia meant that the logistics where going to be a nightmare.... well until we got in touch with Nu.From our first skype call Nu asked us questions about what type of wedding we wanted, these questions helped us articulate what type of couple we were and what we wanted our wedding to be for us and our friends and family. As the majority of guests where travelling from overseas and many 1st timers to Africa we wanted to make sure we showcased all that South Africa had to offer and that they walked away truly loving the whole experience not just the day. This was definitely achieved with Nu arranging 3 separate events which not only showcased Cape Town but also allowed our guests to get to know each other.From the moment we got our mood board we knew we were in safe hands everything on the board captured exactly the experience we wanted and from then on it was clear sailing. I know many people think that arranging a wedding is a very stressful experience but we did not have that and that is all because of Nu and her team. Nu is extremely organised and always makes you feel like everything is under control and was a calming influence on both of us on the day. She even remained calm when two friends showed up the day before the wedding to surprise me a quick shuffle of the table plans and it was all sorted… not even a look of horror on her face.Our day was truly special and was everything Josh and I had been imagining for the 18mths of planning. We were initially set on planning our wedding ourselves, but we soon realised that it is not for the faint-hearted! We really wanted to be able to enjoy the time leading up to the wedding, so we called Nu. Being creatives by profession, we needed someone who understood our vision and would be able to execute it flawlessly.Nu Experiences were an absolute pleasure to work with. From the moment we met up we were able to relax. Nu was completely on top of everything, incredibly organised, and SO lovely! We realised that despite her kind nature, shes an absolute powerhouse! She and her team went above and beyond to pull our dream wedding together, and nothing we asked for was ever too much. All the suppliers wed hired worked seamlessly alongside her, many of which told us afterwards that she was brilliant.Our wedding was absolutely everything wed dreamed of.
