I bought a beautiful backpack 4 years ago from King Kong leather and today its strength was tested.I was attacked in Woodstock and as much as the guy was pulling to try and take it off my shoulders, the straps in their solid stitching, held their King Kong strength.I survived, with a few scratches and my bag is smiling! Pathetic service. After 3 weeks of numerous phone calls and messages I finally received a message to say that my products are ready for collection. When I arrived my products always far from ready, none of the engraving/ branding was done. Total waste of time.

Ordered a handbag for my wifes birthday through takealot. Two weeks later (two days before my wifes birthday) I get a message that my order was cancelled as they do not have stock. This is very bad service and must now quickly try and make another plan to get my wife something. Will not try to support them again.

Only came across the company by accident (google search) , ordered 2x items on Fri. and was delivered to me (at no cost) on Mon. (from Cpt to Jhb).Then viewing the packages -- the workmanship is top notch , I would highly recommend ordering a product from John & the team.To be honest is it not always a given that the product is as viewed on the web (if you did not see it in the store before), but this just exceeds expectations.

Product was not too bad, bought it online. But it was not to my liking. Came back for a refund and felt really bullied into keeping it if they made alterations. Declined as Id like a bag that doesnt need alterations, still waiting for communication on my refund.
