She listened to what I had in mind and advised me on how we can achieve that. She definitely takes her time to assess your hair and hair history, which I love. I was treated with the utmost care and kindness from everyone at the salon. Lets not forget about the amazing coffee and scalp massage! Its been 1 year and 9 months since my last haircut which was a disaster. I decided to brave it and try the Style Bar at the Village Square in Durbanville and was not disappointed.Shenell was my Stylist. She was professional, friendly and most importantly listened to me and then made recommendations and did exactly what we agreed apon. She was extremely efficient and surprisingly fast for my length of hair. Once she was done I was extremely pleased with the end result.The Shampooist Vic was also just amazing. While doing a hair treatment she gave me a head and neck massage which isnt unusual but I swear she had magic fingers.Overall I interacted with 3 staff members and all 3 were friendly, professional and just provided an awesome experience.I highly recommend The Style Bar at the Village Square in Durbanville especially Shenell the Stylist and Vic the Shampooist.

What a little gem I found in the middle of Durbanville called Style Bar in the Village Square. I was a bit apprehensive at first about going to have my hair done with this Covid 19 going about but I need not have worried. After a very friendly greeting I then had my temperature taken and my hands sanitized in a very professional way. Everyone had masks on and I felt at ease immediately. My stylist was Bianca who did my color my trim and my extensions installation - she installed 4 boxes of 16 inch Easi hair Pro extensions . On Friday I had my hair cut here for a second time since restrictions were lifted. I was satisfied both times with the results and the professionalism of Rochelle. On my first visit all the protocols for re-opening were adhered to. Masks, shields, sanitising and social distancing as far as possible. On Friday it was a different story. No shields and with the exception of my stylist, everybody wore their masks only covering their mouths. I really felt uneasy and should have spoken out, but refrained from it. It is a great salon with friendly staff, but I would probably not go back and hopefully I did not become infected with Covid as a result of this non compliance with regulations.

I came to style bar for a cut and colour. Wow I was very impressed with how professional they are, the salon is beautiful too. I was super happy with my hair and got so many compliments! I will definitely be back.

I went into style bar to get my hair fixed, my blonde hair was so yellow and the regrowth was something to behold. I wanted to change it up a bit, make it less yellow and more natural looking. A reverse balayage was recommended and at first I wasnt too sure but the results seriously speak for themselves.Rochelle is an amazing stylist and I couldnt have asked for someone better. She gave some really great advice and made sure I understood the entire process and what was going to happen.Definitely my go to girl from now on!!

Posting this actually made me realize just how long Ive been going to Style Bar to have my hair done. Im not somebody who stays in a place just because of familiarity. Im blonde and very paranoid about not having healthy hair, whilst maintaining the right shade of blonde. I find that all the stylists are very well equipped and up to date with the latest trends. I especially love the new salon at Village Square Centre, Durbanville. I love the vibe in the salon and I must say that it filters from the top down to the others. Rochelle is the best of the best and all who work there are extremely friendly and make one feel comfortable at all times. They are extremely professional but never neglect to provide a warm atmosphere. What can I say? I love my hair salon 😁

I’ve been going to Style Bar for almost a year now and it is by far the best professional hair dresser experience I’ve ever gotten. Lovely staff and super friendly that really give you what you want. Rochelle helped me go from almost black to blonde without damaging my hair in a few sessions and did a brazilian treatment at the end. My hair has never felt so good. I highly recommend Rocheal and Style Bar. You will get more than your monies worth.
