Very fast service and even when I made a mistake in my own order I came back and they helped me fix it very quickly and easily.

These guys are so great, I had been to a number of framers who were unable to assist for an unusual candle holder glass side plate I had. It required specialized cutting. They sorted it out overnight, ready for pick up next day for an unbelievable price. Thx so much.

Highly recommend mirrors galore for their prices and customer service. Its the only place I go to for glass.

Every time I go to Peacock Glass it is with reservations. I know I can get glass significantly cheaper than I can there, but I suppose that I must just accept that I am paying for the convenience of them being centrally located… But they are DEFINITELY not the cost-effective option. But what prompted me to write this review was my most recent experience. I had to replace a single small window pane. I was told that I was not allowed to pay by credit card as my order was below R50. Seriously! My understanding is that the merchant agreements of the various card providers specifically don’t allow that practice. A phone call to the owner suggested that the reason for this minimum is that “there is too much paperwork” with these transactions…?(!)? And then to add insult to injury, I asked for a pane that was 282mm on one of the dimensions. Not only was the pane not square, but one side was 286mm. Needless to say, it did not fit back home. I REALLY shouldn’t have to check the quality of the workmanship before I leave. Unfortunately, I will probably be back (convenience, etc) – but I will continue to be resentful every time I go. And I will check all workmanship before I leave.

When I could get no-one else to come out to replace my shop front window after a break-in on New Year’s Morning my brother recommended you guys and luckily had Terrance’s cell number. Terrance then roused one of your installation teams who kindly put their holiday on hold and come to my assistance. In a short space of time they had carried out the repair and cleaned up fantastically.Even more of a great surprise to get the bill and find out it was a lot less than quoted over the phone – it seems I overestimated the size of the pane being replaced. I see some negative reviews, but I had a good experience getting a piece of mirror glass cut. Fast and efficient at a good price. Edges were finished off nicely and glass was wrapped.

Theyre fine but in my case unreliable. I arranged for them to replace a pane of glass. They said they could do it within 2 days. 2 days past and nothing. I called the following day and spoke to the person who answered the phone. He promised theyd be here before 2 oclock today. AT 14h40 and no show I called AGAIN as it was now urgent, us needing to leave for a holiday. This time the lady that answered asked me who I had spoken to as she had no record of my job.Potential customer, the choice is yours...Update. I have had far better service so far when I called them yesterday. Ive changed my rating

Never a problem, glass and mirrors in all shapes and sizes, walk ins or call ins. Open over tricky festive holiday season apart from public holidays. Great great!

We told them we obviously cant replace the bath but we want them to replace our brand new scratched tap as its immediately noticeable. they didnt even get back to us at all, after few days phoned them again only to find out that they will take no responsibility ..and its their guys word against the customer. Worst of all I literally heard them laughing after they dropped and damaged stuff and the oldest one of the 6 who were here went in and told them they must be careful they cant be reckless this stuff is brand new , now they are just denying that it was them , when I was here and heard it happen and sent them photo proof ! do yourself a favour and save yourself the heartache and regret of doing business with them ..many other places you can rather use!

Incredibly efficient, fast and professional. Told me the price to do the work immediately, was at my house in 30 minutes, and overall just very good at what they do. Highly recommend them!

Terrible service! dont trust these guys in your house they have no respect and will do more damage than what their job is even worth! we just spent over 50k on our bathrooms , they came to put mirrors in..scratched our brand new tap , dropped stuff in our brand new bath and chipped and scratched that ..and they came here and cut all fine glass and aluminium on our lawn where kids play and dogs are (this shouldve been done at their premises!) our lawn looks like glitter scattered everywhere there is so much fine glass! management never responded to my email I sent them (with pictures showing the damage) I then phoned them to check whether they received the email (which they did and just felt no need to reply to!)
