Beautiful collection of local creative products (albeit on the higher end of prices) which are ideal for gifts! The staff is courteous and goes the extra mile.Unfortunately, they have a very limited policy on exchanges, which jeopardized my perception of the store, particularly because they are position themselves as a a gift shop. I recently got a gift from Fabricate and wanted to exchange it for a different size, but couldnt because they require a receipt for exchanges (even for gifts).

This is the best gift store in Cape Town by far! If you’re looking for beautiful, locally made products - this is the place for you. I often walk in looking for a gift and end up getting extra things for myself as well! The staff is very friendly and helpful but unobtrusive, leaving you be if you just want to have a browse.

Ive frequented Fabricate for many years now. Its one of the best (if not the best )shops to get gifts for those you care about. Buying locally produced products is important to me (and should be to you too) & Fabricate helps me make that decision easily. Pretty things, terrible customer service. Ive been a loyal supporter of this shop for years and have recommended it to many friends. Disappointed that I wasnt refunded for an item sold to me by a pushy sales assistant who recommended the incorrect size, while I was browsing the store yesterday. Still no call from management as promised 24h later.

Even after we choose which items to purchase and went to check put I kept making impulse buys as I looked around the store, each time seeing something new I HAD to buy.Definitely recommend this shop, theyre also really nice and happy to help you find what youre looking for.
