Giant Hyper is a great place to buy bulk goods at reasonable prices. It helps if you know what youre looking for because the place is enormous. Its not the cleanest place, but they have almost anything you might need.

Most prices are good. Staff somehow have a strange attitude towards customers. They seem to think that if you shop there you are a cheapskate and deserve to be treated as one ????. Management on the other hand are friendly and always helpful. Will continue to support and suffer the attitude of some of the staff.

I love Giant Hyper but today I had bad experience when I was still inside putting more groceries , one woman come with pressure and told us that is already 17h30 if you dont come to pay now the cashier will leave,. I have to stop and take what I can.I was not happy at all because I know Shop like Picknpay if you are already inside they dont put pressure on you.

Floor staff are helpful, big ups to them. Variety of goods at good prices available. However, cashiers are unfriendly, unapproachable and have no courtesy. The last time I was there (July 2021), the cashier did not greet back, I showed her courtesy by telling her please and thank you but this was not returned. She threw my goods as she was scanning them with no care. I always experience this type of rudeness from Giant’s cashiers- for years.

Greaty variety of product. All in all a great experience. One downside is the parking lot. You wont parking easily.

Giant Hyper is true to its name....a Giant on SAVINGS in a hyper store , when shopping for ALL of your grocery, and ALL other relevant living needs such as shampoo, baby needs, cereals.... etc etc.YOU will find a bargain in every aisle.As a fact in point...YOU wont find Makro or Checkers looks in the store.....

Giants were highly recommended by my family and friends for their very good prices on essential products. I was not disappointed as i received value for my hard earned rands.

Giant is my go to place when looking for quality imported goods at really low prices. Good place to do you monthly shopping as prices are in some cases lower as other retail brands. The only thing that still bothers me is that some parts of the aisles are a little confusing to me, especially since some aisles are combined. Still a good place.

Great prices.... Though some of the good have been priced at retail prices which then begs the question of why are u coming to a Hyper when you can go to a normal retailer... Theres no incentive mos😏

Love this place, its massive and huge and you will get lost, but its my go to place when we doing party packets for our feeding kitchens, Islamic events, for an organization or our community and we need to make up hundreds of packets, I like there variety of different brands under every section to choose from, theres from very cheap to cheap from sweets or chips, juice boxes, chocolates, lollipops all things for an party packet and literally theres an isle for each product like the lollipops isle, you will start seeing the R42 lollipops, walking further down the R30s one , further down R20, eventually I came across furthest down the isle got a pack 48 lollipops plus 2 free for R17

I frequently purchase bulk items from both the Epping and Cape Gate branches and the service at both branches is absolutely tops. The staff are helpful and friendly with even management going out of their way to assist. The only criticism I can find would be that I have encountered a lot more of the customers walking around in the Epping branch with their masks down and mouth and nose exposed.

Price over convenience, relatively COVID safe, but the people here don’t always have social distancing in mind. Great pricing on bulk, you’ll save a lot, but the experience will change you. You’ll either never want to go back or won’t want pnp pricing again. Apparently certain cleaning materials and some specific shampoos etc are never stocked.

Navigation in store wasnt bad. I got assistance quickly and was helped speedily at the till point as well

Giant Hyper is where the secret resides. When youre thinking bulk and dont know how to save, try this place.R2 on every 1kg of porridge is quite something when you buy 10. Looks like too much to buy at once until your kids want more.Go there once a month to save more at once and save on fuel. And if you can do it during the week, please do because Saturdays are not practical as there is almost no parking space.

Great shopping 🛒 experience at Giant Hyper Benbow Avenue.... The variety and great stock is great and bargains galore. The butcher/meat 🥩 selection is good and halaal. And the variety of cleaning products and sweets, chocolates and snacks is also vast and nice to try new things. Would want to visit again. Can get crowded so plan appropriately...Just watch out for the vagrant outside they can be a bit aggressive....

Large whole shop....wide variety of just about everything at a great price. Parking sometimes are full if all the little shops are there.....but I normally do find a spot. Make sure you enough time......if you are going to browse every Ile it will take nearly a full day.

1.Tried exchanging chips that had burst in my sisters trolly and the lady at the 1st till to your right had an attitude that was anything but pleasant.2. My suster had just finished scanned her items when the cash register started acting up, the more my sister was telling the reschedule to avoid scanning the items from over. The more the supervisor is telling the lady to restart and when she saw she in actual fact had 2 reschedule. The supervisor dismissed my sister and told her to go to another till. And go and rescan all her items when we had spent almost half of the day there. So i for one will never put my foot there. The shelf packers was much better and so helpful. But from the till packer and up, im 100% positive that thats the worst service Ive ever come across.

Staff were friendly, however there were a few staff members who did not know the location of certain items and guessed sending my 63 year old mom and I walkig from one end of the shop to another for veg which were in the front section of the shop. Other than that the store is clean and shelves neatly packed and maintained. Their prices cater to all and quality is top.

Giant Hyper Epping is situated close to the Cape Town Market. This is a hawkers paradise and a shoppers nightmare. This wholesaler is open to the public and traders.it is always full. Reasonably priced merchandise makes this everyones favourite place for groceries and more. Parking is limited but ample at times. Staff is usually helpful. Well worth a visit, just not on a weekend or Friday.
