The worst third party experience one can get with First4Woman. Will be better to rather claim from your own insurance than to waste time by claiming from a person insured at First4Woman /Auto and General. They provide under market settlement offers and delay payments as far as they can and then want companies like Eezyfix to attend to repairs that use only second hand parts.
They are quick to take your monthly premium but totally unfair and disgusting when it has to settle a claim. My house burnt down and for some technical reason of which I was totally unaware ofonly paid only about 15% of the insured a mount. They stink!
Tried getting an insurance quote from a few different companies and Auto and general by far had the worst person call me. Rude, impatient and no telephone manners.

I did not know claiming from insurance could be such a mission. Im struggling for the 3rd week to get hold of insurance to fix my roof after the storm wind we had about 3 weeks ago. Paying insurance every month for nothing is no joke.Eventually sending an assessor to mess my roof up further and not fixing it. DONT TRUST THIS INSURANCE!!!! They just care about you premium each month

Do not make use of Auto and General, will do anything to get out off a claim. Would STRONGLY recommend not dealing with them.
Waiting for TWO WEEKS now just to get my policy updated. Your staff keep on making mistakes. If you cant issue the correct policy HOW can you deal with a claim???? And by the way: how does a car change colour??
Worst insurance ever, mom tried to claim for structural damage for the house, which was not approved because they said it was damage over time, and they said my mom who is a pensioner supposed to get a reputable maintenance company once or twice a year to do maintenance at her own expense, so why pay insurance if you must take care of things yourself, really really really bad insurance company STAY AWAY

Ive put through a claim and have not had a rental car available to use and have been told 3 different reasons (by 3 different consultants) as to why or why not I can or cannot get the rental car.This has been extremely frustrating and has led me to be without a car for almost 2 weeks.I DO NOT recommend Auto & General as an insurance.
Its like no one here has ever dealt with a stolen or broken into car. Ever. In their life. The misery. I mean I send an email to their LEGIT claims department and the below image is the response I get. Pathetic.
They told me my car damage was R60 000 and my car is irreparable. I took their pathetic payout and then happened to locate the guy who bought my car on auction from them. He laughed when he heard what they quoted and said he had fixed the car himself quite easily. Don’t trust this deceitful company.
A&G is the pits. Avoid avoid avoid. Rather pay a little more for a more reputable company
The worst service ever. No follow-up; no support; consultants working in silos so the left has no clue what the right hand is doing; you must explain yourself to every new consultant till you are blue in the face- still no progress. Appalling. Run while you still can.
I am so glad that I have changed to another car insurance company. I had an accident in October 2018. I had to pay the excess of R3000 and they told me that A&G would fight to get it back. 5 Months later I called to ask what was happening and then they sent me a form to fill out regarding the accident. Every month after that I had to phone and ask what was happening. Not a peep from them and I have not seen that excess that they said they would get for me from the other insurance company. SO PATHETIC A&G! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, AVOID!!!
A&G is a the worst when it come to assessing and handling claims ... I cant even give them one star, but have to otherwise I can post this! Read my story.After a minor accident on the evening on 7 February my Jeep Wrangler had a leaky radiator, damaged front bumper and two minor dents on the bonnet, but had to be towed because of the radiator. I registered my claim on 8 February and my Jeep was only towed to A&G Telesure Yard in Bellville (Belle Street, Stikland) on 12 February. I explicitly asked that it be repaired in Stellenbosch. My request was totally was ignored and I suspect the Jeep was delivered for repair to Tremar Coachworks 6.2 km away in Viben Ave. I called about every second day to inquire about my Jeep and had to listen every time to the consultants recitals about their competence and answer their multiple security questions every time. Every time they would say that the claim has been awarded and Tremar Coachworks will repair it and then we will be back where we started. If I pointed out that my express prerequisite was that it should be repaired in Stellenbosch, one answer was there may not be a vetted panel beater in my area (Stellenbosch) who can repair Jeeps (absolute BS). I then confirmed that there is at least one A&G vetted panel-beater (GP Panel-beaters) in Stellenbosch. For the many long winded phone calls that followed I had to hear over and over that the assessor is handling it, but when I asked to speak to him, he is not available or they will find out or the assessor is on vacation and so on and so on. This kept on happening for almost three weeks. Every call felt like Groundhog Day and I was without my own transport. Meanwhile, I suspected that my Jeep was gathering dust at Tremar Coachworks and the claim was hanging in the air. I suspect that the assessor probably did not want to it be repaired somewhere else, and maybe he hoped I would finally give in. Then on 26 February (almost 3 weeks after my accident) I completely lost it and please note that I did not curse during any of my six phone calls that day. I finally I got hold of a consultant, Pieter Joe Naude, who really helped me. This time I asked for written proof and he sent me emails to keep me informed. Peter Joe solved my problem within a day. Unfortunately, I could never get information about the dodgy assessor. The only reason why my Jeep finally came to GP Panel-beaters (who did a stellar job!) in Stellenbosch is because I did not give in to an anonymous assessor, who I feel stalled the claim for close to three weeks. For this claim I award 5 stars for Peter Joe and GP Panel-beaters, 0 stars for A&G and BS for the assessor that handled my case.
Waited too long to cancel the policy. Unable to cancel the policy directly. Had to be transferred to another company number and then was transferred to another number. But then they could not find the vehicle or information on it.
Would never recommend them after continues calls to cancel they still deducted payments for us every month 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡.

Very bad service wont recommend anyone, they just dont get back to you i have to always phone in and to top things of they will reject your claim for any little things i mean why do we take out insurance
