Good old school shop... Prices are competitive and the staff aware of getting you assisted fast so you can be in your way... They are a huge retail supplier of gas.. in the 10 mins I was they 8 x 9kg tanks came and went.

I arrived on Friday just before 5pm, having already tried a number of places that had no gas in stock. Whilst whoever had answered had been efficient and helpful on the phone, I would have hoped to get the same level of service in helping carry the full tank to my car, which was parked just outside. When I asked, I was told the other guy is outside smoking, and the one behind the counter could not leave. Since there were no other customers in the store, I thought this was a little odd. Parking is also not ideal as Victoria Road can be very busy.

Noticed that when we take our 5kg gas bottle to be refilled it only lasts about 7 days and the bottle feels lighter where it would last for up to 16 days before. Ive had the bottle refilled there a few time but this was the second time that weve bought gas from them and the gas was finished in no time . I feel so frustrated. Sorry but youve lost another customer

Service is good. They are always busy and refilling larger bottles takes a bit longer. My go to gas supplier.

Called twice to confirm information, I was given wrong information. Wasted my time driving out. In a time when things are so expensive its not a good idea to Waste peoples time

Watching events unfold this week on TV got me thinking about what I witnessed at Link Gas on last Saturday @ 1300-and the sickness developing in our society.I was in the line ( about 9 people )all with gas cylinders to exchange . I had just made in through the door ( one lady in front of me and a man at the counter ahead of me , when a white senior man pushed in through the people outside the door. the owner , assistant had just placed 2x 9 Kg cylinders at the counter for the gentleman who just paid for them…..When the Que jumper man scooped up the 2 x 9 Kg bottles” saying “ Hi Wesley , just put on my account , I will be in next week “ and to amazement of the gent that paid & all of us in the line- Wesley DID NOTHING other than acknowledge the infringement , even though the client who paid said “ hey I just paid for those “ to which the peputrator says “ don’t worry they will get more’!! And walks out to the Mercedes ….Because of Wesley lack of action ( it’s his premises so he has control of what transpires therein - he could easily explained , the bottles are the client at counter property , and regret there is a line , if you could just join , we will serve you just now - AS SIMPLE AS THAT ) remember the client at counter had paid cash - the perp took - on no payment what so ever , yet the “ walk in was treated with more respect by Wesley than he treated the cash paying customer - I walked out in disgust and a man outside said “ did you see that “ said yes that’s why I am going elsewhere - he asked where and I said Gas Bouys down round where they respect thier clients

Not very clean and smelly at the butchery. Management seems ill equipped to provide good customer service and support. I will only use this store in an emergency.

Nice little Store, but charging more than regulated LP gas price. 9kg gas price should be R 153.54 inc vat (R17.06 per kg as per Dept of Energy/Law) and they charging R 176 per 9kg exchange bottle. Like Fuel, LP gas is regulated.

Small, and to purpose. Efficient service. Conveniently situated for local below-the-bridge Plumstead residents. Gas refills are the main business but the store also carries a variety of gas and braai related appliances. There are no official parking bays, but there is some store-front space on the ample sidewalk, and there is plenty space to park close by around the corner off Victoria road.
