Stodels is not just any kind of nursey or garden center, when you walk in, you walk into an experience, an amazing experience. You dont just walk through the door, sanitize and shop as if youre shopping for groceries and then mundanely go to the till, pay, leave and then tick it off your list of errands as if it was a chore and unpleasant effort. The moment you park, to the moment you enter, you are greeted and treated like royalty continuing throughout the entire time you are there, and even up til your car. The staff are well trained, respectful, friendly, always willing to help, if you need to consult an expert on anything specific, Stodels has multiple knowledgeable and well experienced staff to assist you with specific needs. All the staff are helpful and do it with pleasure and respect. There is no doubt that youll have a smile on your face when youre there and after you leave. The presentation, upkeep, cleanliness, quality and display of products is excellent and beautiful for the eye to behold. The quality of the plants are excellent and good value for money. Having a Stodels club card is such a delight too. All round, your experience includes being treated how you deserve to be treated and more, it is a positive and uplifting atmosphere with almost no difficulty and surrounded by beauty, you gain a lovely sense of peace and joy, it is such a pleasure to shop at Stodels. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Prices are good, plants are beautfiul. Always have what Im looking for. The free gift is always a nice extra! Kids always enjoy the experience. My autistic son loves nature so its a lovely sight for him. The park is awesome for the kids!

I love visiting this garden centre. They are such an inspiration to me. They have a wide variety of plants, stones, pots, garden furniture and all sorts of stuff you need to successfully garden. They also have quite a few layouts as examples for the customers which I really appreciate. Their staff is friendly and helpful.

You receive a lovely welcome when you enter by a very nice lady. There garden centre is neat and tidy. Display of plants are set spaciously. The outside garden is like plant heaven. Staff are friendly and helpful. Water features are gorgeous.

Hi all... So we tested positive for covid and are isolated from the world... fun... I needed to order 2 small bottles of plant food and wanted it delivered... I live like 2km away from stodels by somerset mall and they wanted to charge me R350 delivery fee. What kind of fuel do they use... The fee costs more than the products.. Thats just ridiculous.. Its day light robbery.. Highly disappointed.

Most of the staff were polite and friendly. Nice range, but didnt have what I came for - coriander and parsley.EDIT : Was back here yesterday (6.03.19) for my March free gift and the Rose Patio that was on special! Lovely selection of roses to choose from! They were well looked after, vibrant and smelling just as a rose should! Again, staff are extremely welcoming and pleasant! Their smiles tell a story! We came for free gift + rose patio, left with my sister signing up for her member card and plant trays + free gift and it got the most stunning succulents!My sister asked why I never brought her there before - its like heaven!

Really good verity of plants and outdoor items available. There plants also seem very happy and well looked after. Unfortunately they are a tad more pricey than the other place that we frequent, however it is worth popping in to see their items.

While busy browsing and walking through the Centre one of your employees were busy with a hose pipe. Im not sure how it happened but the next moment I was soaking wet she did not once apologies and the staff at the front desk when I ask for a cloth to dry myself they brought a wet one.While I was busy writing this review Natasha came out of the store with a apology and a beautiful plant, which I did not expect.That was the only redeeming thing about the whole experience.Thank you Natasha for making me smile after storming out of that store.

Place is really nice and wonderful for gardening purposes indoors as well as outdoors.

Great nursery. Although they are a bit expensive. They do have a 50% down sale sometimes and that is awesome. The staff are helpful and friendly. Their herbs collection is also good as well as the variety of succulents.

This branch has a good variety of produce- not excellent though. I spent a lot of time here when doing big projects in my own garden. After speaking to 2 employees to assist me by sharing their expertise, I found that the woman was just trying to sell me the most expensive products that werent even going to work for what I needed it for and the man was so upset by the lies of the woman that he insisted I try his recommendations first. I did and his has worked excellently and saved me thousands of rands.Do your homework before going shopping, especially if its for products which generally you require some knowledge for.Stodels prices are average, but sometimes they tend to be on the more expensive side - just do your research beforehand.

Very relaxing atmosphere if you need to escape for a while from the hustle and bustle. Great variety of flowers and gardening stuff....friendly service. A coffee shop in this lovely nursery would be the cherry on the cake!

Great experience from the moment one enters. All staff welcome you. Very friendly. Ask if you need assistance. In my case I was just browsing but the moment I needed to ask something there was someone available. Everyone I encountered had a great plant knowledge.

The staffs always welcoming and ready with a smile to assist and advise. Their prices are reasonable. They have regular specials and if you have a loyalty card theres a gift waiting for you every month.

A person only hates a place when staff are not properly educated and therefore have no product knowledge. I was lucky to find a very helpful and knowledgable staff member who did not waste my time and understood exactly what I needed. Such a pleasure.

Darren went out of his way, after I left an enquiry for a stock item which I am waiting for. He really went beyond what was expected of him, sending the item at no charge as well as a voucher. A well earned 5 stars for the Somerset West Branch management keeping the Stodels Brand strong.

It is always a treat to visit. The plant selection at stodel is great and the health and quality of the plants are excellent. For a novice gardener, the plants I have purchased at stodel a have thrived. Well worth the visit for plants

They have a good selection of plants and more. The only drawback is that its a bit pricy. We still shop there and recently purchased a blueberry bush. If you are looking to do your garden shopping with your kids in tow, they have a play area so you can do your shopping in relative peace. The staff are also super friendly.
