I popped into the Paarden Eiland today and the service was simply amazing.A very pleasant experience.

If there was a 0 Star it would be better. I placed a quote for Some Trellises and recieved a quote. So I go in to pay and they say the order will only be made in January 2020. No where on the invoice does it state that I will get them 2020. Now having to look for a place on a Saturday. Terrible Service.

Don’t let their friendly attitude fool you, the planed all round PAR wood I ordered to build a patio roof was horribly skew. I called them and they asked me to email a picture, I did this a no response... the overall quality of wood ordered was way below standard after I paid extra for planed pieces. Won’t use them again. 😡😡😡 Very helpful when selling very poor after sales!!!

Here is the problem with the world in a nutshell...I decide to make germination boxes and research standard sizes of wood....super so my measurements and research and drawing done and I go off to wood merchants who advertise the wood in standard sizes they supposed to be ie 38mmx38mm... based on this I buy screws and brackets etc etc tallying up to a not too small amount...on delivering I find wood to be 35mmx35mm... Now you may be thinking geez Andrew whats the big deal its just 3mm thats not a huge distance in the grand scheme... well if any of you have read Ken Follett World without end, you get to realise that can ultimately lead to a great deal of loss of life of this were to happen on an important structure, not that mine doesnt have value or importance. It is not only the R68.52 rip off just for the wood never mind all the other goodies needed that no longer fit. Will the structure ultimately be strong and stable enough to do the task its built for... The guy at the store when told thats fraud...gets a little uppity and says well lets not go that far...well okay would stealing be to far...so why dont I pay everyone I owe 8% less every time and why dont I take 8% more all the time, why doesnt the doctor cure you 92% every time or the Taxi driver/airplane take you 92% of journey.... every 8% eats away at the moral/ethical fiber of society at our ultimate ability to grow crops, feed and sustain... put simply standard measurements are not as advertised

Very friendly with a wide range of stock!! They dont seem to know what stock they have as I ordered a cwrtain lenghth of pole was told nothing available was charged for it & loaded??? Parking also at a premium not much space at all especially with a trailer??
