Absolutely a prime example of a company not taking responsibility for the service they provide.DAMAGING GOODS!BRAND NEW stainless steel motorcycle exhausts worth 10 000 rand (Heavy duty items), wrapped in bubble wrap and boxed.When they arrived the boxes were dented and torn.I took photographs in the truck before accepting them,As you can guess the exhausts were dented, and they refuse to accept responsibility offering a paltry R3000 for what is entirely their sloppy negligent handling of robust exhaustI absolutely loathe this company. USE THEM AT YOUR OWN RISK. Useless

I sympathise with those who have had bad experiences but I found their service excellent, although they were not the most economical option.My calls were handled professionally. Call centre staff were polite and helpful. My parcel was collected (in Cape Town) at the time I stipulated on Tuesday, 22 October, and delivered to a Johannesburg address on Thursday, 24 before 6 pm.A special thanks to the driver, Charlton, (CT) for his courteous service.It is the first time I used them. A relative, who does business with them regularly, referred them to me.I hope they maintain this level of service and work towards improving costs for clients.

Time Freight telephoned me early this morning to inform me documents were at the warehouse and would be delivered to my residence. They gave a window of delivery as ALL DAY, which I said was inconvenient since my gated community were all on holiday, and I had to see patients at my office. I requested delivery to a shop in the nearby mall.I spent many minutes outlining the mall, the shop, the adjacent shops, the contact person, and said someone would be there in the shop all day to receive the documents. I took the callers name, and was assured all was fine.At lunchtime, I received a telephone call from the TIMEFREIGHT driver that he was outside my gate. Unfortunately, this did NOT SURPRISE ME - since the only consistent aspect of TIME FREIGHT is their TOTAL LACK OF SERVICE DELIVERY, and their seeming total indifference to the customer.ARE THEY REALLY THAT INCOMPETENT? THE ANSWER IS A DECIDED YES. DO THEY CARE? THE ANSWER IS NO.How one company, whose only job is to deliver parcels, can be so consistently inept is mind boggling.Why did the warehouse manager waste my time? Did he take any message from me? Did he pass the information to the driver?ARE THEY REALLY THAT STUPID?????A system is as strong as its weakest link. There are so many weak links in this company that it is inevitable that TIME FREIGHT IS USELESS. A waste of money, and a pity to those who might be trying to do a good job.

Took a bit long to answer the telephone at first i waited for about 15min just as i was about to put the phone down and try the online version someone answered and it went quite fast would be awesome if they sent you a email or notification sms of where the package is though, but picked up a package in JHB on Friday and i have it on Monday, pretty awesome, and price was not too bad. Very professional eager to help and friendly. Thanks a-lot for great service! I would surely recommend you to someone.

A great courier and service. The Cape town branch. Working a lot with the online portal it is easy, though it would be great if they could add a date for collection and not only time so you can schedule pick ups for the future.Ps. I dread working with Johannesburg branch. They have really bad to no service there.

Is possible to give a 0 star rating??Used them once and literally will never use them again!! Im still waiting for my package and its been over a week. They said delivery had been attempted, but there was no phone call nor any attempt to deliver the package to the address where I was all day during the day. Upon the next follow up phone calls I was informed that the driver had already left for the respective days and my package was still in the warehouse... how does that make any sense?The tracking section of the website is a joke.

Most useless place I ever dealt with. You will be put on hold for ever and then the call is dropped after holding for almost 15 minutes. I called 3 times and put hold for an average 15 minutes per call and call dropped all the 3 times. The 4th time I got through to someone who couldnt assist me or didnt even know if my parcel was in the warehouse as I offered to drive and collect it myself. Worst and the most frustrating service. I wonder if this place has management and what are they saying with all these 10ns of bad reviews. Shocking.And just noticed this has been happening for years. Wish I checked the reviews before giving them my parcel. Pathetic. No-one cares.

Used Time Freight on three occasions, parcels sent were misplaced for all three deliveries and eventually found, but obviously delivered later than expected/ promised, as per their lead times - Couldnt track parcels online with tracking/ ref numbers provided (Not registered on the database? - Error message occurred online) - Customer service can take over 10 minutes to answer phone calls (occurred on several occasions) - Before being helped you get lots of recorded information on how superior their service is (?)... Personally, would rather be helped within a reasonable time frame and not have to hold and listen to useless facts! When eventually speaking to customer service, often get excuses for the poor service delivery.... Pricing not too bad, but expect to wait and possibly waste a lot of time chasing them up on undelivered goods... Hopefully things improve for them?!

Reviews should allow that 0 rating is given!Ive been waiting for over two weeks for my delivery and they have told me they were at my house on Friday 14 December.I didnt receive any calls from them stating they are outside.When I checked the tracking online, they were at the wrong house!!!The picture wasnt even of my house and now no one is responding.Rene asked for a tracking number which I have and now she has gone quiet and is ignoring me!RIDICULOUS!

Terrible experience with “Time Freight”! Got a phone call said will be deliver last Friday and I must wait at home for them the whole day. Nobody ever showed up! One week later I phoned 5 times to the office and nobody knows where the package is! At last the package has been found lying in there warehouse, no one can give me a reason why it was left there. Shocking service! Wasted lots of time and airtime on them. Don’t recommend anyone to use this company. ☹️

Pathetic service is understatement, worst freight company I made use of. Customer service levels is none existance at this company. Been waiting close to three months for a claim I submitted. I will probably never get compensated for my damaged item, payment should be done ASAP however Visa Versa situation things never happen nor progress report given to customer. I take it with all reviews seen its common practice at this pathetic company.

The service we have received from Time Freight is absolutely pathetic.There are so many problems with the service this company provides I can write a whole book about it!From deliveries that take more than 8 days to complete when the promise a lead time of 2 to 3.They do not answer their phones at all and when eventually they do you would have to hold on for 15 minutes or more before getting any kind of answer or assistance from anybody if you lucky enough not to just get your call cut off.They do not communicate with customers prior to delivery at all, they just pitch up randomly and expect people to be at home without making arrangements before the time.They do not handle fragile parcels with care and when they damage customers products due to their incompetence, they wash their hands in innocence and leaves the supplier to sort out their mess at the suppliers expense every time without fail.They can not even get the right parcels delivered to the correct address and mix up packages which are marked clear as daylight with client’s details.Furthermore you have to spend endless hours on the phone following up and trying to get answers on work their staff is supposed to carry out.Let this be a warning to all, if you need any kind of quality service stay far away from Time Freight.To the CEO of Time Freight you should be absolutely ashamed of how your company operates.

I have only experienced excellent service from the Timefreight personnel, be it the driver, sales rep or other call-center staff. There has been one or two hick-ups, but it feels as if everyone at TF wants to sort out your problem with the greatest urgency. I have also experienced very helpful service from the sales rep for our area!! Well done!

USELESS CUSTOMER SERVICE! Cannot reach anyone on the landline, and when I do they cant assist efficiently and should they be able to assist by locating the item, they cannot deliver as promised. Definitely a NO GO! The most recent feedback I received was that my parcels sticker was not on it and that is why they couldnt locate my parcel. Sorry Timefreight, I will take my business elsewhere.

My client received badly damage products. After 4 months off constantly enquire about the case status, they state its not their fault.All of the evidence where clearly indicated that it was damage with rough handling via transport. Meaning of through, kick and jump on boxes.Cost R30 000 to re manufacture the damage goods for my client.Packaging where clearly mark on each side and top, as fragile with their own stickers. Product was pact inside the box over protective, with multiple protective cushioning. Best of all, the product is not as fragile, but they anyway manage to damage it.

Time Wait. Parcel was due to be delivered yesterday, Thursday. Apparently wont be delivered today either, so only then hopefully on Monday i.e. 5 days late - PLUS dont even bother writing closure or delivery times when you fill in the collection form - they are completely ignored.Next time I did an online collection request. It was completely ignored and 3 days later no parcel collected. No-one answers the phones in CT or JHB -youre either put on hold or they put the phone down on you. Shocking service.

Abysmal. Worst Courier company Ive ever dealt with. If you call the number on their website, that office cant help you unless your package is in KZN. My package was coming from Johannesburg so they told me to phone the Johannesburg office. When I phoned the Johannesburg office I got told I had to call the Cape Town office because thats where my package was being sent. In this age of the internet a courier company cant help me with a package unless their office is physically in the same province as that package.After an hour of being told to call their various offices and having the phone outright hung up on me as I waited, I finally reached someone who could help me. I stressed the importance of their driver calling me on my cell when they deliver because there is no other way for me to tell that they are there. They promised me that I would be phoned by their driver when he arrived and yet this morning when I checked my (awfully formatted) tracking information on Time Freights website it says that delivery failed yesterday because access was denied to the property.In future Im going to check with any company I make an order from to find out which courier theyll be using for delivery and if its Time Freight Ill take my business elsewhere.

Today is Thursday and Time Fright have still not dispatched the parcel. 100s of excuses, he said, she said, nowhere did I hear, How can I solve the problemOne call to DHL, and they are on the way to Time Freight to collect the parcel and overnight it to me.Can do attitude.Sorry guys, I am sure you have thousands on satisfied clients all over SA, but if you cant deal with cross border deliveries, then leave them alone.

They just decided not to deliver my parcel to its destination. It came from Johannesbirg to Cape Town and after 3 days, where it was laying at their depot, I had to drive to the depot, get my parcel and deliver it myself to the mechanic that work on my car.

Had some furniture delivered to a friend in Grahamstown, had the chairs professionally wrapped in cardboard and bubblewrap, was assured that care would be taken in the delivery - the chairs were destroyed in transit, completely ruined. Fully agree with damage goods ... I use time freight alot (atleast 2 - 3 time a month) and have damage goods every second delivery ... no matter how well i do packaging and how well i support product it keeps on being delivered damage at clients ... still no feedback from them after how many complaints ... pick-up and delivery always on time inStellenbosch area.
