We have been using OREX for sometime now and always had good service . This week we had items sent down from JHB and it was to be speed couriered. I first called about 12 on the 29-04-16 to find out when the truck would be there. Paul told me its arriving at +- 2 o clock . I asked him to let me know as the items i have in that truck is for a special job . At 4 o clock i called again and he said he forgot to call me sorry. I asked him what time they close as the traffic is bad now and he said 6 o clock. I then told him we will collect then . Why the parcels were not delivered to me as we pay for that i dont know. I was there at 5;30 and the place was locked. I tried calling the cell nr on the board but it just said call ended. I then went to the courier next door and asked if they have a nr for someone at orex. The guy gave me the number of AJ. I called and had to leave a message. He called me back as we arrived home at about 6;25. I told him that Paul said they would be there till 6 and that i needed the items urgently. I also told him that if this was the way they work i will go to another company in future, He then said he would have come and opened for me but as i was now threatening him he wont help me and i can collect in the morning. Now this is not speed courier anymore as i will only get my items 2 days later. The next morning he called to ask what time i will be collecting as he was taking his boss to Century city and would be at least a half hour. I was there when AJ arrived to collect. When i went to the office he told me he had spoken to the boss and the boss said he must close my account as from now and i must pay all in full before any goods left the premises. I asked him why did he not tell me that over the phone when he called me earlier. I had to go and draw the R2000.00 at an atm before i could get me goods. Now this is none of my fault that they said they stay open till 6 and did not ,they could have left my parcels with the company next door and let me know it was there. If this is how they treat a client i am sorry i had done business with them at all. I also had to wait for my change as it was as if i am not getting it , lending money then from another client he gave me the change . Stinking service in a city that there is so many couriers you would keep clients happy. I am i my rights to say that if this is the way they do business ill go somewhere else .. THATS NOT THEATENING. Even the Boss does not have the decency to call me and find out what is the correct story. Good luck to him, lets see if he is still in business in a year.
