I rate the gym 2 as I really do like the facility itself, however lately I have been noticing more and more people DO NOT clean the equipment after they use it which is so unsanitary for one and secondly Covid is still very much active. I have a comorbidity and so upon signing up I was assured that the gym is very Covid conscious.Another thing is, people walk around without masks. This is not okay. While some people do not take Covid seriously, the gym is a public space where unfortunately we ALL touch the same equipment and have to at the very lest respect each others hygieneAt one session, in the span of 30 minutes I saw about 5 people walking about maskless and one person sweat up a machine and then just walk away, later I witnessed more. I do hear announcements to encourage people to follow the rules but NO ONE is monitoring.I really hope the gym can assign someone to make sure its members are being considerate to one another. If this keeps happening I would have to cancel my membership and I would not recommend anyone who is hygienic or concerned about Covid to join this gym.

This Virgin Active Red is clean and well set up. No pool (Virgin Red is a more basic set up). A day pass will cost you R50 (card only, no cash). The staff were friendly, but seemed a little unorganized while checking us in. This is likely because they dont get day visitors on a regular basis. The gym is a bit warm, compared to other Virgin Active facilities I have visited. Overall, a good experience. I will visit them again.

Safe. Unpretentious. Never crowded. Clean. Always parking. Friendly staff. All equipment working and in good condition.

Decent Virgin active. They certainly missing some key machines. To much focus on cardio but that seems to be every virgin active out there. The staff are friendly and welcoming.Otherwise , Overall Im a happy member

The gym is fine in terms of hygiene. Anyone can get a good workout however I feel that the admin staffs do not know how to deal with members queries efficiently.

The mask 😷 and extra rule i am not a fan of but that’s unfortunately a must .Always get help if you ask and always clean.best gym i have gym by so far.👍

Small but staff is friendly and efficient

This place is extremely clean and spacious. The exercise machinery is new. And the bathrooms are tidy. There are lockers for storage of personal belonging, just bring your own lock.I lost my cellphone at this venue and a guy named Lance helped me find it. Very helpful staff.Theres very helpful staff at this Virgin Active. They helped me understand the workings of the machinery. And guided me to a TV that also explained how the machinery worked.

We really like this gym. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The facilities are world class and we really enjoy exercising there.

Frirndly staff

Affordable, neat and modern facility with a great layout of equipment and functional training space.Bathrooms are spotless.Its not over crowded during peak times.Informative and enthusiastic staff.Schedule includes frequent group exercise classes,including functional training, indoor cycling, yoga and pilates.Personal training services are available.There is a Woolworths Food store right next door and ample parking near the entrance.

Very good gym. The only issues I had was that they dont have the traditional Lat pull down machine with the wide bar as well as the cable row . The last issue I had was that the fire alarm goes off very often or they test it very often. This made it not enjoyable to gym. Staff very friendly. Locker room is always clean.

Can get a bit overcrowded since its not really that big, but in general quite a nice gym

Its nice to train there, havent been there in a while. I train at the Brackenfell Red club.

Great Gym with Swimming Pool, 3 Studios for Aerobics, Pilates, Yoga, Strength gym, Full gimnasium with Proffessional Coaches available on site.

Patrons and staff very very courteous.. Im coming to gym with a walking stick.. Ill be dancing my way out of there soon.. God willing

Great gym, but could do with a bit more equipment especially in the weights section. The water fountains also tend to need maintenance all the time. Overall great value for money!👌

Very private, usually empty in the mornings so it makes for a great workout without distractions. They are missing some equipment and have only one type of barbell which can be annoying sometimes. Decrease the excessive number of treadmills and replace it with an additional squat rack.

Most distracting gym Ive ever been to. The music is super loud when theres a class on as theres no rooms for the class to muffle the noise. Way too many cardio machines. Extremely limited equipment and weight machines, tiny lockers, no hairdryers. I suppose you get what you pay for.

Spacious, not too busy would be nice to have a seperate room for yoga, Pilates etc..

Always clean, very well located, have just about enough equipment for different requirements, at half the cost of a normal Virgin Active gym... who needs a pool at the gym anyway...
