The Best Place Ever

Im forever grateful to these guys, their speedy response to our call when a fire broke up in the neighborhood on a very windy day. They were lifesavers 👏👏👏great job.

We took our grandson to the Milnerton fire station for his third birthday. I wasnt even aware that one could do that. What a surprise when we were all welcomed with open arms. One of the firemen, Robin Barnes, did everything he could to make one little boys day special. From swopping headgear with him and letting him try on his jacket to putting him behind the wheel of every vehicle in there, nothing was too much for him. The grownups questions were answered with care and in detail. Even getting a fellow firefighter to slide down the firepole holding a brave little 3 year old wasnt too much for them. What spectacular guys (and girls!) these are. They are not just heroes in an emergency. Anyone willing to give his time with patience to a little boy is a real hero. Thank you to everyone at the fire station. We were really impressed.
