I closed my account in August 2021 and requested the money to be transferred to my bank account. I had to get 3 months bank statements which took me about 1 hour from my bank. I then went back to Old Mutual and after another 40 minutes was told it takes about 3 weeks to transfer the money. On 30 Agust 2021 some of the money was transferred into my bank account. When I enquired about the rest, I was told by the lady I have to come into Old Mutual again as they cannot do this over the phone. This is extremely frustrating and Old Mutual do not respond to e-mails I have send.
