Took a look at some jewelry there the other day. I picked up a ring with a stone in a prong and asked what metal it was. The clerk told me it was pure gold and not at all plated. I asked well how many karats. She said no, thats for diamonds and its pure gold (I assume she confused carats and karats). I told her that pure gold is quite soft and would easily bend and would not likely be used to carry a stone. She said shed told everyone that had come into the store that that case of jewelry was all pure gold. I took out my phone flashlight to look for a karat stamp. I did not find one. She then called someone and came back to tell me that it was actually sterling silver and plated. I appreciate that she followed up but I do worry how many people shed been misinforming and if they purchased the jewelry believing this information. Perhaps they can make up a sheet with some quick info that the store clerks can reference that would be beneficial

One would expect superior service with high prices like these. But alas my experience with Missibaba has been disappointing- slow to respond to queries (24-48hrs) and expect a long delivery lead time(min 4 weeks). Bag hasn’t arrived yet, so quality is still undetermined. Underwhelming is an understatement. Beware.

AVOID, Ive decided to take legal action after I placed an order, a month later it still hasnt arrived the first tracking number they gave was incorrect the second showed the bags left SA then disappeared, and hasnt arrived in the UK and when I contacted Missibaba and I was told I had to contact the postal service in the UK myself, I did, it was Parcelforce, they confirmed it hadnt arrived in the UK. Missibaba are now ignoring my requests to resolve this with either a replacement or a refund, despite the fault being theirs
