Pretty place to be but not what expected. Staff that booked my folks in were rude and unwelcoming. Cake and tea turned into coffee and a mundane cupcake and the rooms were only satisfactory. I would not call it a luxury night out. Not a bad place to be but if you are looking for luxury this wouldnt be my first choice.

Very beautiful house and surroundings. Beautiful views from garden and swimming pool. Had a great spatious room. Friendly staff. Easy accessible. Free parking. Wifi available in the main building ( no wifi in the rooms.) Breakfast was ok, nothing special.

Happend to find a deal on daddys deals and bought it. Room was decent. No tv. One could do with a tv if its stormy weather and no where to go. Shower was ice cold...dont know if they turned the geyser off? Plug in basin could not come out, therefore the water could not drain. Poor plumbing in bathroom...toilet takes a while to reflush, low pressure shower.Other than that..the hospitality was good. Staff were helpful and breakfast was good.If it wasnt for the deal , I wouldnt pay full price. Hot shower in winter is needed!

Overall, a very good experience, the area is peaceful, a great place to go to get away from the city, staff were friendly and helpful, my only complaint is the lack of seating in the room.

Hidden gem

South African wine winery excellent hearty breakfast. A wine farm surrounded by greenery with super breakfast excellent rooms. Attention: dinner is served no later than 18.00, at 19.10 all cleared. In the evening you go to bed early and you dont go out because of the delinquency rate. Nothing happened to us, just inquire about the areas to avoid. South Africa to be visited is an extraordinary territory.

We were there for 3 nights very pleasantly. The best thing about the house is how the authenticity of the place has been preserved, and it completely relocates to the late 19th - early 20th centuries. Although we did not enjoy breakfast very much, if we were treated very well and one of the dinners was quite amazing.

The hotel corresponds in the smallest way to the representation on the pictures! The whole facility came down extremely. We canceled our trip!

Lovely guest house in the middle of the vineyards of Cape Winelands. Authentic old farmhouse, beautifully decorated with antiques, super tasty food at a large table with the other guests, very friendly welcome.
