When I hear the words N1 City Wonderland, a huge smile crosses my face and I begin to giggle.This place is filled with memories. Ranging from being a toddler, running around with my parents chasing me, as I find my favorite game (which still remains the same) the tramping spider game.From teenager memories of heading there with my best friend, meeting up with guys for what we aka (teenage brains) assumed was dates hahahahaha, ofcause not letting out parents know this.From later in life heading there with my human having him spin the big wheel and winning a 1000 tickets and thereafter handing out tickets to the kids running around.This place bring back your inner child.I never had bad memories here, expect for when I nearly broke the light above the pool table, while pretending to be a master at pool playing hehehehehe.Heading back in 2021 to see where it is safe to head to while we live in a global pandemic, I was surprisingly disappointed.Yes there is sanitizing and temperature checks before heading into Wonderland.But there is no one who walks around spraying sanitizing on pool sticks once games are done, or on game handles, or balls of the basket ball game or even the balls of the bowling game.For someone with a comorbility it was scary thinking that kids are heading here without these precautions in place.If it is not practical to have someone walking around sanitizing it. Then have more sanitizing stations closer to games so that parents and kids can sanitize before heading to a new game.Lastly I was disappointed by the fact that my favorite game was clearly faulty but there was no out of order sign on it. Please have this fixed. Its the three tramping spider games. The buttons you need to step on does not light up on the firtherest two machines. Made me waste 4 tokens before realizing this. And the token price WOW!!R2.00 per token is ridiculous. I do understand that Wonderland needs to make the money they lost during the hectic lockdown levels. But increasing prices to the extent where kids or adults cannot actually enjoy themselves, will mean that you have less foot traffic or you will have people come but they wont stay long due to games being way to expensive to enjoy.

Great way to de-stress and fantastic way for the whole family to enjoy themselves.

So many different games to choose from for all ages! Only 50 ppl allowed at a time so its not overly crowded either. All games get sanitized by staff almost instantly.

I truly love taking my children there. They enjoyed every minute. A bit crowded but amazing to spend quality time with your children there. Getting to know what they lie and do not like when it comes to these games.

Great staff, not alot of people. Great games and entertainment that is affordable for families.

Lovely place to have a family. Its quite full at the end of the month so be sure to keep your children close so they dont get lost.Their prices for tokens also increased to R2 a token

Its always a great experience bringing the kids to Wonderland, because we also grew up with our parents bringing us to Wonderland frequently. The kids had a great time, and what is nice is that the coins are still not over priced. However, they are stingy on the amount of tickets you win at a game and the toys you win in exchange for the tickets as opposed to Grandwest. On the other hand, Grandwest asks double the amount for a coin. It was fun:)

Went to wonderland early the sat afternoon. Went back home due to que that was out the door. Came back later that evening had a good time

My 6 year old absolutely loves wonderland. Its just a pity the cost of the tokens have doubled. Which means we will be visiting less.

Ive had such great moments here ever since I was a young child, but your recent price hike of the tokens from R1 to R2 (per token) has really upset me. The price of the games are overvalued, they are not worth the current price. R6 to play a racing game thats over with in a few minutes? R4 for less than 1 minute of basketball? That price hike was way too greedy, couldnt you have gone for R1.50?

Good variety of games for date night, to just hang out or take the kids for a treat.Spacious enough to social distance and have fun.

A lot of fun games to play and shared some great memories with my friend at this arcade, only problem is that its a bit crowded, but furthermore its absolutely fantastic and a great place to hang out with friends.

A wonderful arcade that brings back many childhood memories. However, not for those who struggle with being overstimulated by sounds (all the sounds) and lights. Overall a good experience, very clean and a perfect date spot.

Wonderland is quite a nice area for kids to play. Compared to other arcades Wonderland is clean and relatively safe.It is, however, hard for adults or caretakers to supervise at times as there is no seating. The two beverage vending machines only accept R1 coins which means you will probably need to exit the area to get refreshments elsewhere or make change.Furthermore, as with other arcades, the tickets dont really translate to much winnings, so younger children may be disappointed unless you are willing to spend a fortune.Also not advisable for children with autism or epilepsy as there are bright flashing lights and loud noises.Other than that it is a nice experience.

Most of the games dont work properly. Have to keep calling someone to assist. Pool tables also need new veldt. Very run down

Between the last 5 to 15 years that place has really gone downhill. It was always suck an awrsome place, lots of great memories with friends and family there but it is not what it once was and sadly it is not being looked after properly.

The place is a bit crowded at sometimes and the games are kinda getting outdated but I like the idea of keeping the old games alive but I wish there were Somer newer consoles but I really enjoyed my time there

If i could give no stars i would machines is old and broken they do not add new stuff most stuff not giving tickets so you have to call them to come and then they just tell you to use other machine and give you a few coins

Love the variety of games for my 2 year old compared to the other arcade facilities Cape Town has to offer. She can literally spend hours in there! And the fact that it is only R1 a token makes it absolutely possible to spoil her with a visit to the games!!

Havent been there in a while. Brought back memories especially now that my son is of age to play games. Covid protocols implemented, sanitizing station all over floor at various points and a max of 90 people allowed.
