The reviews here and on other sites like hellopeter stating the unprofessionalism of this company are pretty accurate. Joined a while ago and the first audition that was offered to me was at 5.30pm for the next morning at 7.30am!? Talk about short notice. I asked if there were any other sessions and was told no. When I couldnt make the early morning session I was told that actually there were more sessions later that same day that I could attend. Why lie when asked about other more convenient sessions instead of providing your talent with some options (which clearly there were) when expecting them to just drop everything last minute?Clearly as with the film industry its always lastminute.com and the people who work for you and keep you in business are never treated with any respect. A very disorganised and non-transparent agency that I wont be working for. If this is how things start it cant be a good sign of things to come.

I have been with them for about a year. In total I have done +-20 jobs with them some bigger than others. Found them to be polite and helpful. Had a small issue a while back (slightly late payment) but was resolved quickly. Robyn and Tracey provide me access to gain extra income through this service. Payment for jobs is usually 60 -90 days as is industry standard. I get several availability checks a week normally but of course I am not selected for every job. Colt only puts you forward jobs they do not select who works on jobs. Over all I am happy that i signed up with them.

I was asked by Colt the night before to do a Covid test at 8 in the morning in Cape Town, I told them that I would try to make it because I was hesitant due to Cape Town traffic and due to the fact I had an articles of clerkship meeting. I then as thought didn’t make it due to traffic. Colt also proceeded to phone me while I was on the N1 and I told them that I was driving. I was cut off several times because of their distractions. They then told me to drive to another location for Covid testing I waiting for an hour and a half and NO covid test done. I phoned Colt stating that it was my mothers car ( a single parent who works with autistic children) who had to go work at at 1 pm they told me I would not be paid if I didn’t stay or compensated for the petrol I drove out from the northern suburbs. They owner Tracy then phoned me and spoke to me in a disgusting manner accusing me of not caring and I told her It’s unfair of her. She then said I had to drive to Cape Town earlier the morning ignoring the fact that I am a 23 year old woman alone and that would be unsafe to be on the n1 at 5 pm. She also stated that during covid cape town has no traffic and insinuated that I was lying. Today I lost petrol money and Would never recommend colt to anyone. They are rude and have poor administration and when a client notifies them late about a deadline they shift blame on the casting talent and force them to cancel previous engagements .

Unprofessional,unprofessional, unprofessional. Been trying to communicate with an agent over their business Whatsapp and they just ignore my messages about castings and any questions I may have..not just one or two days, weeks! And I can see theyre online...just a terrible experience, frankly, in fact, worst experience, period..without us, there is no cash flow for the agency nor the talent! Well done, Colt. Time to fire someone that side.

Over two years now only two jobs. Payouts take forever. I think certain people get more jobs. That is to say the privileged. Because when you get to shoots they tell you about all the jobs they get. However many times you reply to thier sms you still dont get the job. Thier communication sucks no one to contact.

#ColtTalentAgency are terrible at payroll! I know someone who worked for the agency and was meant to be paid after the standard three month waiting period but six months down the line theyre still waiting for payment.#ColtTalentAgency staff constantly reassure the money will be paid but in fact are liars and do not follow through with their promises! I urge anyone considering using their services to give them a WIDE berth!!Fly-by-night best describes this agency (I was forced to rate it one star as it wouldnt allow me to post otherwise).

I have asked this agency THREE TIMES to remove from the SMS mailing list, and they still send me messages from time to time almost 3 years AFTER I formally left them

Ive tried to send so many applications to Colt talent as I want to register with them , on their web that we have to fill in an application form and someone will call you with further information of the registration process, No one has contacted me as yet , since October 2014 up until todayService IS REALLY BAD

I had a health issue and was in a hospital for a while. They were extremely insensitive and unreasonable.

PATHETIC, PATHETIC, PATHETIC!!I have been waiting more than 4 months for payment and when I call they just give me empty promises!
