I have always had Fantastic service from Cooper Power from day one.they are friendly and bend over backwards to help in all situations.i really appreciate how they go out of their way to help me too, as i am physically challenged, but they always make a plan.good on them! :)

In the beginning of this year we purchased certain electronic equipment more specifically UPS units from COOPER POWER the suppliers with the intentions to resell the product to consumers.Days after selling the units to the consumers the units were returned faulty by individual consumers on a fairly large scale.Subsequently, the goods were returned to COOPER POWER by us for investigation with a report finding from them that the units were overloaded and that the warranty does not cover units that were deemed to be overloaded, and a cost to repair was applicable.The cause of the units failing to operate further was as a result of a blown fuse situated inside the unit, which I now believe that this particular fuse by their own admission was installed by the suppliers COOPER POWER and not the inventors of the unit for unknown reasons.(Moreover this troubleshooting item doesn’t appear in the manual of the unit) which make the unit perform/operate differently from the manual.After scrutinizing the manual it clearly states the unit is completely protected when overloading, and that in the event of overloading taking place an audible beep sounds for every 0.5sec continuously. Nowhere in the manual is a fuse indicated or mentioned regarding an overload scenario. (See attached Manual of the product)The fact remains that the UPS in question does not conform with the provided manual as indicated and therefore if the unit was unassumingly overloaded by a customer who is by virtue a laymen the system failed to peep audibly as described in the UPS manual putting the unit at risk by operators / consumers misusing the unit as it were.The manual as it stands is ambiguous and very misleading to the consumers.Based upon the above mentioned information we have tendered to return the goods for a refund from the supplier COOPER POWER within our 6 month period proving that the units are defective in terms of the short lived performance as well as the ambiguity of the products manual relating to the overloading aspect which in essence is the issue in this matter.(In our view the manual should have changed accordingly when the additional fuse was installed as well as the original fuse which is also not mentioned anywhere in the manual)COOPER POWER, are currently in possession of our UPS unit, and in this instance are reluctant to release them unless we agree to restructure the warranty according to their terms and condition, which we are refusing to cooperate.

Thanks to the service team. Overloaded my UPS by accident and found out they put a protection fuse inside the UPS which was easy to swop out and the UPS is working 100%!!
