Dr Johan was absolutely amazing. Made me feel comfortable and not afraid to get my IUD... Even though I was a big baby. He is funny, kind and warm. I highly recommend him.
The examination was fine but I am so over the medical profession and medical aids. I need a referral letter to get a mammogram/breast ultrasound but the Dr wont give me one because he cant feel a lump even though I explained I know I have a lump, I simply want to check it hasnt grown. Clearly you need to be in stage 4 breast cancer before anything gets done!
Cringy, racially insensitive jokes. Spoke to us like toddlers, and added extra visits for no obvious reason. Glad the Gyne we originally wanted to see is now available.

Having to change gynecologist after 20 years is very daunting, but Dr Van Heerden made me feel very comfortable, very informative, professional and explained in easy terms, found my gynecologist for life or until he goes on a sabbatical like my previous one... Lol
Dr Johan Van Heerden is an AMAZING Doctor. He is excellent at His Job, Answers your questions, Warm, makes you feel so comfortable, and very Honest. I loved loved my consultations with him. He is an absolute best.
