Tried to speak to someone over the course of 6 weeks during the covid-19 pandemic and got no return phone call. As a Canadian citizen in need of consular assistance thats unacceptable.

Very good service and not very busy. The website-experience is very frustrating though and needs to be looked at. Turnaround-time for applications is excellent.

There is no Canadian embassy in Cape Town, but if you want to get a visas, you can apply online and the go to the VFS Global office (30 Waterkant street, Cape Town) for your biometrics. It took me 5 minutes to do so and my experience was just amazing

Theres no information online what so ever which i think is really bad .We had to physically go to the address as stated here on google maps to find out if it even exists !Thankfully, it did exist. Still not too sure about business hours but we went in before lunch and it was open .

This embassy is now closed. There is no Canadian embassy in Cape Town at this time (August 2013).p.s. I didnt hate my experience because I didnt have one, but Google forces us to select at least 1 star.
