R1897.50 to come and detect a leak that apparently wasnt even detected! So no repairs done, just a call out for R1897.50!! Insane!!

I had a question, they were kind enough to call me back with good advise and a quote

I WISH I had read these reviews before calling the Drain Surgeon. DO NOT USE THEM. The guy was at my flat for max 15 minutes to clear my drains with drain cleaner and a plunger. It cost me R1590. I was in total shock when he handed me the invoice. How can call out and labour for an easy 15 minute job cost R1285 excl VAT? What are they smoking? I have learnt a valuable lesson of always asking for a quote before any trade job as you clearly cant trust them to be reasonable.

Came 35minutes late for appointment and my drain still not fixed properly

Please do not call this company they charged me R1650 just for a call out fee and did nothing they were supposed to fix the leak in my shower, water was running through into my neighbours flat below but nothing was done. I wish I read the reviews. I lost a total of R2000 for nothing.

If you need a professional plumber, these guys are not the ones. They lack the skills they boast. I called for a plumber because my geyser was leaking, they told me it had to be replaced altogether and couldn’t be fixed, my landlord called their own plumber who was able to fix it no problem. Not only was this a waste of my money, I couldn’t even get an apology or acknowledgement of my complaint.

I appreciated the call from the head office regarding my complaint.Kathy was very fast to contact me.For that reason I am giving them 5 star.

Charges R1500 for a early morning call out that lasted 20min

If you have a major blockage, dont call this company. They came to my place the first time for about 15 mins, saying they cant unblock the pipes and have to come back the next they with other equipment. They came, about 30 mins late, tried with the third machine, no luck. Then, they just said, they cant help, and I have to chop my tiles up so the can see the pipes... saying this without actually telling me where the pipes go and where exactly the blockage is. Lucky, I asked for a second opinion, because the other company did not give up until they fixed my issue!

They were on time and did a good job.

Fast but not cheap

Needed a leak fixed in a water pipe.It only took them 30 min and it was very expensive.The call out rate was over R1200 for half an hours work.They fixed the leak but they are expensive.

Best service ever!

This place is advertised as being open 24 hours a day.We drove over 100kms only to find the place closed and no-one available😝
