I took the Product Management course in the Summer of 2017 at iXperience and it was one of the best decisions of my life! I learned so many incredible things while visiting Cape Town that I will remember for the rest of my life. At iXperience I was introduced to an amazing group of super bright young minds who are all trying to make a global impact, teachers and staff that provided an immersive learning environment for all the students to collaborate in, and a network of highly skilled professionals who have helped me get into the career field of my dreams. This program has changed my life and I never thought iXperience would be able to provide such an incredible learning opportunity to jump start all of our future careers. For those of you who want an edge to jump start your professional career, to be part of an elite network of people with some of the brightest minds from the top universities in the world, and to create experiences that you will cherish with you for the rest of your life. This program is for you. I can see the amazing impact this program has had on my life and my professional career. It was the best decision I have ever made. If you really want to know what iXpereince is all about, this review doesnt even scratch the surface. Youre going to have to come to Cape Town, South Africa and find out for yourself ;)

IXperience’s summer program provided me with a wide array of skills that accelerated my career search and taught me how to ace any interview. The skilled professors and staff in the program helped me to meticulously curate my resume, write a well-structured cover letter and practice speaking diligently about my experiences in an interview setting. The work experience and career guidance that I gained last summer with iXperience helped me to not just get interviews this year but to ace them and receive a number of internship offers.

My engagement in the iXperience Investment Finance program was the most beneficial decision I’ve made for both my personal and professional growth. Learning from industry leaders in the classroom and working on in-depth projects during the internship helped me develop fundamental skills that have undoubtedly prepared me for my future career in financial services. The program fostered an environment in which I felt comfortable stepping out of my comfort zone, and I know that the connections I made with classmates, iX staff, and internship co-workers will last for many years to come.

IXperience gave me concrete projects and experience to put on my resume, giving me the opportunity to explain how I learned quickly and applied my knowledge in interviews. The unique teaching style and emphasis on collaboration with peers was incredibly valuable to my education and career trajectory. IXperience is an amazing opportunity to further your career. I went into the data science class unable to tell you what a string was, and came out with the ability to write machine learning programs. The teachers wanted you to succeed, not only in the class but in life. They were willing to meet me early to talk about my career and stay late helping me on projects. I learned many things from iX, but there were two that really changed my life: the ability to learn quickly and the love for learning. These two have carried me so far in the past year as my productivity has increased to levels that I did not believe was possible.

Skeptical about the amount you can learn in a two-week course? Yeah, so was I. Especially in a subject I knew absolutely nothing about. Fast forward two weeks into my iX Data Science course and I was hacking out models and data visualizations like no one’s business. But, the real test of our knowledge came when we started our internships program. I was so nervous to start the internship process. No one in our group had ever interned at a start-up, or in data science, or in a foreign country. Then, I realized that iX had placed one of the Data Science TA’s to guide us throughout the entire internship process, from the first meeting with the director of the company to the final presentation. We had CONSTANT support—which really eased my nerves. And the director of the company we worked for used our presentation in a meeting with investors!It has now been a year since that journey. I still stay in contact with my TA (shout out to Kenny! You’re the best!), and every graduating senior from my internship group is employed by an amazing consulting company. Not only did iXperience give us ‘experience’ as its name suggests, but it also gave us the strength, confidence, and agency to follow our dreams and not sell ourselves short.

Absolutely unreal experience! I would highly recommend ixperience to anyone interested!! I learned life long skills and made life long friends!!

After my freshman year at college, I felt frustrated that there were few college courses that would provide me with tangible tech-related skills that could help me explore my interests and advance my career. I heard about iXperience and thought that it had the potential to solve this need. Little did I know, this decision wouldn’t merely teach me a new skill or allow me to spend a summer traveling – it would change my life and career path. My User Experience Design course and subsequent internship exposed me to product management – a career path that I likely would have never explored prior to iX. The skills that I learned through iX became the basis for my future career path. It’s crazy to think where I’d be today without this experience!

Great courses and great location, theres no better way to get amazing and unique experiences and learn at the same time
