This was my first time going to a driving school, so more than anything, as a female, I was concerned about my safety and getting into a strangers car. But Faeez was very chilled and even let me take a picture of his license disk so I could send it to my friends and family lol. I was so sad that the lesson came to an end, but I stepped out of the car feeling very empowered and capable of taking over the world! Im looking forward to future lessons. 10/10 Id recommend 😊

I had very little available time to practise my driving skills but felt that I was in good hands with a friendly and competent instructor at my side. I came to Mother City Driving School after having a bad experience with a previous company. I had developed bad habits and clearly hadnt learnt much from my previous driving school. Faeez was able to undo all of those issues I had before and reteach me. It was easy to book lessons because he was always available when I needed him. He was always on time and is decently priced for the service he gives. He put up with a lot of nonsense from my side and was able to deal with my ADD and anxiety. Today, I passed my drivers on my first try. All thanks to Mother City Driving School. I wouldnt have been able to do it without you. I highly reccomend.

After starting my driving lessons with another school which’s name I will not be mentioning, I quickly realized it was a waste of time as the instructor charged me 150 per lesson (had two lessons) and all he did was take me for a drive and say “I want to assess your driving abilities”.However I came across Faeez and he is the best instructor anyone could ask for, patient, experient, entertaining, knowledgeable, punctual. I’m running out of adjectives. He is always there for lessons, he finds your flaws and perfects it, takes you on the test routes and he sticks with you until he’s 120% SURE that you’ll not only pass your test, but pass it first time just like I did! I strongly recommend mother city and Faeez. It was a pleasure working with you!

The Mother City Driving School provides an excellent service to all learner drivers who seek a first time pass. Instructor Faeez is a calm cool instructor who doesnt make you feel uncomfortable or stressed when learning and would be my first recommendation to anyone who is wanting to get their license first time.

Thank you Faeez! After having a horrible experience with another Cape Town CBD driving school, I was quite anxious in starting lessons again and trusting an instructor. Faeez was patient in teaching me exactly how to pass (first time with Mother City driving!!), and become a good, responsible driver.He is courteous, does not miss lessons, keeps contact, and is always willing to share his knowledge that comes with years of teaching hundreds of learner drivers. He pays attention to where learner drivers need more experience (parking, traffic, urban roads, etc.), and isnt afraid to say so, so theres no wasted lessons and money. He ensures we not only practice on the test routes, but also gain experience in driving other routes (for me that was from Town, to Hout bay and Claremont) as we will all need to.We used an Etios for lessons, the car was great to drive with (unlike some other instructors who have various car issues during lessons) and is obviously well looked after. Just on a side note, some of my previous instructors charged less, and it showed in their lack of technique and professionalism. Faeez charged R160 per lesson when I had lessons, which was more than reasonable. For the amount of damage Im sure learner drivers do to a car, and his high standard of teaching, his lessons are worth much more.I cant recommend this guy enough, so if anyone is looking for a driving school, this guy really is the one to go with.5* Faeez, thank you once again!

I can confidently say that this is an awesome driving school. driving instructor was easy to talk to and easy to work with. I had an amazing learning experience, with an instructor (Faeez) who was also very cognisant of all the anxieties a learner comes with. his level of patience and teaching techniques were awesome. I had gone to driving schools before and actually, much time and money wasted there coz at Mother city driving school is where I actually learnt how to drive. so if you want to learn how to drive (legally and safely), I recommend you get in touch with them and go get that license.

The first time driving a car was with Faeez, and through his good instruction, clear explanation and thorough preparation, I passed my drivers test first time with ease. It was a pleasure to be taught by him and he prepared me in the best way possible.
